    Oh, that would make a great b'day gift!!! I have no idea if you can get a pic that soon, but I hope so for your sake. That's weird that you are having bad dreams. Is that a normal symptom? I haven't heard that. Good luck with your pregnancy. How many tries did it take? Hopefully I will be right behind you. When you say you are at one month, does that mean one month since your insemination, or one month from the start of your last menstral cycle?

    Hi JPRANSK,
    Yes, after I completed my 5th day of clomid, my doctor scheduled an ultrasound to see how I responsed to the medication. It was during that my exam they saw the 4 follicles, so they had to disclosed the possibility of a multiple birth. So they gave me the go ahead to take the HCG shot that night. With taking the HCG shot, the doctor can time your ovulation within 24-36 hours. To increase my chances, he prescribed using two IUI during my cycle. The first one on Thursday afternoon and second one on Friday morning.

    I'm currently in my two week waiting period. Today I had a Serum Progesterone Blood Test, to see if I ovulated and be able to support a pregnancy. Per the nurse I needed a progesterone level of 20 to avoid taking a supplement. They just called and my level is 22.3, so its looking good for a BFP. My next blood test is 10/21.

    I only had four matured follicles ranging from 17 to 20 in size. There were a few smaller follicles but they would not develope in time to be a factor during ovulation. So the 11 follicles on your first ultrasound is good. I wish you luck on your second ultrasound.

    Hi,I am waiting to start my 1st IUI and I am normally a very regular 28 day cycle and wouldn't you know I am at day 30 and no period. I wish my body would get this show on the road! JPRANSK, are how you doing? I love all the updates on here, keep em coming, you are all an inspiration!

    I know how you feel. My period was a full week late before my first IUI. Totally frustrating....I didn't know what was going on. I was beginning to think that I had willed myself pregnant! Good luck; it will come!

    Tomorrow will be day 11 for me on my 2ww. I was going to wait until Saturday, but I think I might test in the morning. My boobs are sore, I feel a little sick to my stomach, and I'm having some weird cramping pains tonight. I hope these are not just signs that my period is coming...

    Hi all I'm going in for my first IUI tomorrow. So excited yet so nervous. My Doc said I had to wait 14 days until I could do a blood test. I'll have started my period by then too.. so I'll guess that'll be my answer huh?

    I hope it went well today. Try not to stress too much during your 2WW. You could test a couple days early, but you may only drive yourself nuts because if it comes up negative, that doesn't necessarily mean you aren't pregnant. My test was negative this morning, but I'm going to try again in the morning. I'm not too discouraged because it is pretty early. My blood test is Monday, so that is the only way to be sure.

    Are you feeling any different? I will probably start my period before my 2ww so I guesss that'll also be my answer.

    Another negative this morning, but I'm still holding out hope. I'll try again tomorrow, and then I'll have my definitive answer on Monday. All I know is that my boobs are KILLING me and I got a huge cold sore.

    OMG Im sure i'm gonna be just like you. But like the doc said and like you told me... you are testing early... you don't know yet. Wait until Monday. Keep yourself busy tomorrow so you don't think about it (i'm sure in 2 weeks from now i'm going to be doing the same thing).
    Hang it there... if its negative.. then keep your chin up and try again.. is this your first IUI?

    BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my gosh,I'm freaking out. Yes, this is this first try!!! I just knew it had to work. It was the craziest thing...I went upstairs to brush my teeth last night at about 10:30. I happened to glance at the pregnancy test I had taken yesterday morning (still sitting on sink). I had to do a double-take because I noticed a faint pink line. I almost passed out!! I looked at the box quickly to see what it said. It doesn't matter how faint the line is, BUT you aren't supposed to read it after ten minutes. I didn't know what to think. It was possible that the line was there earlier and I just didn't see. I really wasn't sure, because I looked at it quickly and didn't want to obsess about it. I went on the internet and read all kinds of info on evaporatoin lines, so I was afraid that's what it could be. I had one more test which I tried at 5 o'clock this morning, and sure enough, within the 3 minutes....two lines!!!!

    Good luck to all of you. It is definitely possible to get BfP on first try. I never doubted it, right from the time I first decided to do this, and I think that helped. I know I have a long way to go, but I'm just going to continue visualizing everything turning out just the way I want it to.

    Enough about me...how is everyone else doing?

    Thanks Jana.. no it didn't hurt at all. I think I am feeling something now maybe cramping but then i'm wondering am I? Or is this just in my head? Either way.. its making me believe something is going on in there. I'm gonna think like JJ and hope I get a BFP in 12 days (and counting). I hope your period comes soon.. My hopes and prayers are will all of us!

    Jana: hang in there...it will come! Have you called your doctor? I called and told them it was late, and they had me come right in. They said they would be able to tell if it was about to come, or they said they could make it come. Surprisingly, my doctor said it wasn't coming and that we could proceed anyway (which I thought was strange). He was wrong because my period showed up a couple days later.

    JPransk: It's different for everybody, but I swear I was feeling a lot of interesting things right away. The biggest sign for me was my boobs. They started to get sore by day 10, and by yesterday they were killing me. They look bigger today, too, so I'm pretty psyched about that :)

    Tigger: I would love to know what that dance looks like!

    jj: Well... for me... first thing you need is a very, VERY large airplane (see 747). Then you go out near the nose of it and take two steps to the right, shake ur butt, spin to the right... take two steps to the left, shake ur butt, spin to the left... and repeat until supervisor shows up. :P

    They had me on camera (thereby on video tape for the next 60 days) and was wondering what in the world was going on... they know when I get happy about something they'd better come out and see what's going on... lots of smiling customers getting on my plane, though!! :)

    Hi, I haven't called the doctor, I will call the nurse tomorrow and see what she suggests. My body has gone thru a lot of changes as I had to come off some meds so maybe that could effect my cycle? Or it could just be I am anxious. I felt like I was getting it last week but today I honestly don't feel crampy, moody or anything which is a bit strange...Will keep you all posted. :)

    Mz: Don't give up girlfriend... a child would LOVE to have you as their mom... how many times have you tried?

    AFM: Waiting on med records still so looking like November for me... I'm being tested again... had a lot of those since I decided to start this journey back in April... and I'm SURE there'll be many, MANY more before my kids come... I'm not giving up... NOT UNTIL MY KIDS ARE HOME WITH ME!!

    ulatigger: Hang in there. You have the right attitude.

    I got my numbers today for the first blood test and the second blood test. On Monday my number was 62.5 and today it jumped to 287. I don't fully understand these numbers, so if anyone has any feedback, I would love to hear your comments. I'm not really sure what to think, but according to the nurse it's supposed to be good.

    JJONES: I think its good if the number doubles in 72 hours right? That's what I have heard (i have some friends going thru IVF).
    Would you believe I still have not gotten my period. I am 9 days late now. I called the doctor and they told me if it's not here by monday to come in. I am just so ready to get started. I guess everything happens for a reason?

    the number for the second test should be double the first test or more. Since your 2nd number is more than 4 times your first number, all indications are that everything is going great. You'll know more after your first ultrasound, but results like that are worth celbrating.

    JanaBNY: I'm so sorry you haven't gotten your period. That is so frustrating. I wish your doctor would be a little more aggressive. Hang in there. It HAS to come eventually! I guess God has his reasons for everything. Maybe for some reason you were just supposed to wait a little...

    Hey, have any of you pregnant women received the swine flu shot yet??

    Yeah I am sorry too but all my test came back really good, so I have to think this is just nerves. I will go in Monday morning for an exam and will update all. Ho HUM. In the meantime I am learning so much from you ladies ahead of me!
