Rebecca - 2 follies is fabulous! And both a great size! On the one had I would LOVE twins, but it would be pretty scary too!!
Livvy - Yes! our own little pumpkin pies ;-) I have never heard of an overripe follie!! The notion of multiples is totally terrifying, but it at least sounds like you have a maximum of 2 viable which is great. If you have 3 you can give one to me haha!
Mrg - good luck, keep us posted - is this your first iui?
8 days until the blood test to find out if we have a BFP or a BFN. I'm sick of waiting. So tempting to take a home pregnancy test on thanksgiving to see if we have extra things to be thankful for. I sure hope so. This TWW business is absolute hell. I'm not sure how many rounds of waiting I can do. Ahhhhh. I want this so bad it's such a challenge to hold it together.
Elliejo - you must be almost exactly the same timing as me. We are not doing bloods until we test at home, our RE always says "wait and see' which is tedious but usually we know one way or the other by the time a blood test would be scheduled! FX for you!!
Mrg - I hear you! It's the slowest, most tedious wait! It's hard not to over think minor symptoms you would never even think about otherwise. I'm pretty much symptom free but I figure it's totally early to expect anything.
Rebecca - I hope everything went well today (at least I think it was to be today!)
Livvy - how are you doing?
2wishfulmommies - how are the hormones? I think I remember you saying that you were aiming for an early December retrieval? It's not long now!
We had a progesterone test today and we ovulated! Our progesterone was a little low so now we are on progesterone. Pretty intense you have to insert the pills in your vagina. Oy my wife is a saint for going through all of this for a family...We better be preggers!
Hi Everyone! How are we all doing? TWW is almost drawing to a close for at least some of us - anyone have symptoms or sneakily peeing on sticks already? I was so cool and calm about it all until today, somehow entering the second week makes me want to pee on all the sticks. Fortunately I'm very busy today so I'm not going to do it - tomorrow may be another story!! I've not really had any symptoms at all except my temperature has stayed up (but this is my first month temping, so I have no idea if that is normal or not). My DW insists I have super smelling abilities, but I think she is symptom spotting, however I have had a strange sensation on my right side since Saturday, not exactly an ache, but something. I have kept that one to myself as I hate to get DW's hopes up and it could just be AF getting ready to come. Can't wait to hear how everyone is doing!!
Awesome! That sounds exciting. I'm only on my 7th day and time is slowing dragging by. I've been having to pee alot!! Way more than normal and I get dizzy time to time. I also have tenderness to the boobs (sorry tmi). But it could also be from clomid and the trigger shot, don't wanna get my hopes up.
Hi everyone! We are a measly 5dpiui, with a long way to go. However, we received test results from blood work I had done on Friday, the day after our iui, and my progesterone and estradiol levels both indicate I ovulated...so it seems like the timing is good. Hopefully the swimmers were eager and egg was ready to be fertilized. As I mentioned before, I am trying my best to remain relaxed throughout this TWW, butnI will be honest, getting those results today definitely made me excited...and starting to overthink everything. Going to try to get back to my peaceful place this afternoon!
Elliejo - the progesterone suppositories are pretty yucky, but totally worth it if it helps make a sticky bean! Tell your wife to stay strong!
Julie - I agree, the beginning of the 2nd week makes my mind go into overdrive! Let us know if you do decide to poas tomorrow! FX and Baby Dust! I think this is your month!
Mrg92 - those sound like positive symptoms, but your right, it is impossible to differentiate between the meds and the real deal. Luckily, you will be able to test soon!
Any updates Livvy or 2wishfulmommies?
Wishing everyone the very best Thanksgiving week ever!
Pols that's very exciting! Let's hope the swimmers attached. :-) I'm starting to spot a little when I pee, idk how to take that. I send you lots of baby dust and hope for positive results for you and your family ?
pols-I know the wait is torturous but getting little messages from you guys at least temporarily satisfies my need to see/read/hear SOMETHING:) Hopefully our little club gives you peace of mind while you wait.
Mrg-your symptoms are definitely a little questionable...esp the frequent peeing thing. Crossing my fingers!
prbs-we are so alike. I keep finding symptoms and feeling too scared to tell DW and get her hopes up. I also suddenly feel like it's harder to resist not buying a preg test..I had to overcome the urge @ CVS today. My expected AF is Friday and my blood test is Monday. Zero symptoms...Been taking progesterone (yeah having to put a pill up me is new) and having VIVID dreams. I think they're related.
Elliejo, I just told my DW that you praised your wife for dealing with putting pills up her hoohah and she thanked me again for doing the same;)
I'm actually glad I don't have to put pills inside me that way, haha that sounds very scary. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone hoping positive news! I hope all is well ?
Prbs- You can do it. It's almost over! My fingers are crossed for you!
Rebecca-5 days down! Woot woot! I can't wait to hear your positive news soon!
Mrg92-Fingers crossed for you too!
I'm hanging in here. Quite over the injections, hot flashes, headaches, and feeling like a general psycho. Our retrieval will likely be 12/02 or 12/03 so we're close to the home stretch! We'll be waiting until January for transfer post genetic testing.
We totally bought a first response pregnancy test we are going to take tomorrow. I know it's not the actual blood test but we are hoping and praying for something to be extra thankful for on thanksgiving. Not even sure if it will register as ovulation predictor kits didn't work for us. Friday can't come soon enough!!! Baby dust to all in the TWW this holiday.
Elliejo - I have a pack of FRERs too! I can't decide whether to try today or wait for tomorrow or Friday, I am so impatient but I don't want to see a negative test either!! FX for you, I hope you get your BFP today!
Fingers crossed for everyone on the agonizing wait - I hope you are finding the time going by quickly!
Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. This TWW I tried to keep my mind off of it so I didn't check this. Well today is 14 dpiui for me and I got a BFP!! I got A BFP on days 12, 13 with FRER and a BFP on day 14 with Clear blue digital. We go in today for a blood test. Fingers crossed that everything is as it should be! Baby dust all around for everyone!!!
Yay! Happy Thanksgiving lyssy! That is the best news! Your progression sounds great! I am so very happy for you. Fingers crossed for a happy and healthy 9 months!
And to everyone else, best wishes for BFPs this Thanksgiving! Hopefully lyssy's is the first of many this month!
Congrats! That's awesome news for Thanksgiving holiday. I'm 9 days past iui and I'm having some spotting when I wipe, is that normal? Kinda stressing over it. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated
Well according to the first response pregnancy test we are not pregnant. We will see what Friday's blood test holds. I do have a package of condolence Oreos on the counter. Will keep you all posted. Baby dust to all.
Elliejo - I have never had a positive test before 14 days, so I'm trying to hold out until Friday to test, maybe you are just a little early. I always hear about people who get theirs way earlier but I guess everyone is different!
Mrg - similar point, everyone is different. I would expect the spotting to stop once implantation is over - they say implantation can take place anywhere from day 6-10. It may also depend if you are on progesterone? If you are concerned, perhaps it would be worth calling your RE to put your mind at rest.
Happy Thanksgiving & lots of baby dust to everyone!

Livvy- I would think the risk would be low, but it has to be something you're open to. Good luck!
