Yes, having the same donor would have been ever better, but you have succeeded with your first donor, so I'm happy for u. My first appointment is next Wednesday, may ñ, 20th to check everything is ready for my cycle, I'll update the results. Good luck with your appointment with high risk. Yes, I was born in 1979 as well! :) Three more days until the ultrasound. It's scheduled for the 2nd in the morning. I am so nervous, but ready... If everything goes well, I'll be starting the 2nd trimester in about a week and a half. I just had the Panorama (genetic screening) blood test done last week and hope to get the results this week. Let me know how your ultrasound goes. 12 more days to go, right?

Maybe your RE can tell you what are you expecting if a boy or girl :-) Nowadays they tell you the gender very early. Anyway the most important is that your embie is well. Lol. The ultrasound went well. The baby was doing gymnastics for a while. :) It took them a couple of minutes to get the heartbeat and even longer to get its measurements. Everything checked out fine. The baby is actually now measuring at 12 weeks 1 day, and I'm 11 weeks 6 days today. When is your next ultrasound? Have your manager or coworkers said anything about your appointments? Does anyone at work know anything about it? My manager noticed that I had a lot of appointments getting ready for my first IUI last year and he asked me if everything was ok. So, I ended up telling him back in November. He is fortunately very supportive.

Hi Mybaby Yesterday I had an appointment and my Nurse Coordinator says that my cycle is on track. Hoping so. By the way, if everything goes well I'll fly to USA, because I live in Europe. So, every fingers and toes crossed. It's a long trip. 13 hours non stop flight...
That's great news!! What a relief. :) I am originally from Europe as well, but have been in the States for over 20 years. Fortunately, they delivered the samples to my doctor's office, so that helped with the cost. Over here, we have to pay for everything. Hardly any insurance company covers the procedures. I actually called the cryobank to ask if they deliver to Europe because the procedures are cheaper over there (in case I ended up doing IVF). They do deliver to some European countries, but I forgot which ones. It's a shame you have to travel sooo far to get it done, but maybe you can do some sight seeing while you are here... :) If I don't hear from you before your flight, have a safe flight and good luck with the procedure!! I am so excited for you. Can't wait to hear updates.

Yeey! I'm glad that everything went well. :) One wait is finally over, but another now begins. You are almost there though! How long do you think you'll have to wait to start testing? If it were me, I'd start tomorrow, haha. I am not very patient. Things are going well over here. I had a quick checkup yesterday. The heartbeat was 146. I'm 14 weeks today. My stomach is very bloated so I look like I'm 5 months pregnant. My genetic test results are back and everything looks good. So maybe now I'll be able to relax more and enjoy it. :)
Wow, 14 weeks!!! Wow time really flies... Big congrats on your good results, it's a relief indeed. So... What are you expecting? I bet blue hahaha, but the most important is knowing it is healthy. I'm hesitating. My beta is the 29th, but I think I can't wait. Maybe I'll use a frer next Tuesday or so. Now, bedresting. Tomorrow I'll take it easy and on saturday I'll flight back home. I'm looking forward having my little toddler in my arms. I miss him so much... But it's too hard for him to come here.
Hahaha, no blue here. :) Only pink! The blood test came back and it's a girl. Since I like to double check and triple check everything, I'll try to confirm it at the next ultrasound in July. Why don't you get a few of the cheap Walmart HPTs while you are here? They are like $1 each. I bought a bunch of them. I tested positive day 9 or 10. I used it to test out the Follistim and Ovidrel shots and once the line came back, I knew it worked. Take it easy and think positive in the meantime! And have a safe flight home. :)
