Hopefully Florida will be nice for you guys. Have you found work down there? It is so exciting. We are not moving this summer after all. We will likely move next year. We decided to get through birth and parenting. We will discuss our next steps at Christmas. That will give us both several months back at work. My work is crazy so if the plan is to stay I will start looking for something else at that point. But if the plan is to stay I will hang tight in my job until we move. I'd probably find the job in Michigan for us to move and then Abby second. But that is way too far in advance! Right now we are just trying to get this baby cooked and born. I'd love to stay connected. My facebook name is cari dufkempen if you'd like to friend me or message me. We have been on this journey so long I'd love to stay in touch and see pictures of your little ones. We have an exciting year ahead of us!
Cari
Julie, how are the girls? How are moving plans going?
Rebecca, so your little one is here!!! I thought about you all day on the 13th!! I hope all is well and mom and baby are healthy. Hopefully you are home from the hospital and recovering and adjusting to parenthood.
We just saw the midwife. Everything is looking good. Baby is in the right position. Baby hasn't dropped yet. Abby is 37 weeks and 3 days today. Everything is squared away at work for me.. Abby gets out of school on Tuesday. She'd like a week at home to prepare not in school. I hope she gets that. But baby may have a mind of its own. We still do not know the gender or have settled on names.
Thinking about you ladies!

Rebecca! Baby boy must be here by now, I can't wait to hear how you are doing!
Cari, I'm going to look for you on facebook - I am Julie RIchardson and my profile pic is the babies. They are doing really well and growing like weeds, I can't believe they are 6 weeks old today. They are definitely hard work and it's taking some trial and error to get ourselves in a routine since they wake one another up. I am in denial re our move right now, I don't know what we were thinking! I have NO clue how we are going to pack up and go anywhere with there two!!
Crazy thoughts - we have 2 vials of our donor left at our clinic, obviously CC won't take them back as they left them so naturally I have had fleeting moments of thinking that perhaps we should try for another with those... my wife would probably push me out the window for such a suggestion at this stage!! What do people do with extra vials? I guess we destroy them if we don't use them?
The single moms board has been quiet the past few days so I decided to come on this page and wish everyone luck. It was great to read all these messages in this thread. Lots of encouragement and really good tips. Good Luck to you all and I am very excited to see how you all progress.... Hope the June 13th baby and moms are doing well. :)
Getinmybelly, how you hanging in there. I hope you guys are keeping busy and your test is positive on Monday.
Julie and Rebecca, how are your little ones? I can't wait to hear the name for your boy. We are still debating names. Our little one is hanging tight as of now. Saw the midwife on Friday and baby is healthy and in the right position for birth. So sometime soon. We will be 39 weeks on Tuesday. Midwife will let us go to 42 weeks. We want to do everything to not be induced. I am hoping for baby to come on due date July 4. OR next weekend just before due date! We will see what the little one wants to do instead.
Baby dust to those trying! First time positives don't always happen but there is hope you can get pregnant. We got pregnant almost a year to the date of starting. 6 iuis and one cycle of ivf and it finally worked.
Cari
Julie and Rebecca how are you doing with your little ones. We welcomed our little girl Harriet Leigh into the world on July 9th. 34 hours of labor ultimately ending in c-section. Not the birth plan but cord was wrapped around neck twice and she was 9 lbs 3 oz! Torso wider then head. She is perfect in every way. We are so in love. We are just figuring our new life out.
Hope you all are well!
Cari
Julie - How is life with the twins!?!?! I can't imagine how you do it, but I am sure you do it well! I hope you are enjoying it!
Cari!!!!! Congratulations! A little girl, how precious! Sorry to hear about the tumultuous birth circumstances...but I am so glad everyone is doing well! You both must be over-the-moon! And probably overwhelmed...which is totally normal! I love her name! I a, sure she is perfect!
As is our little Jack David! He was born (uneventfully, via c-section) on June 13th at 12:07pm. He weighed 7 pounds and was 19.75 inches. He was a little peanut, and although he struggled with blood sugar for the first couple of days (as a result of my gestational diabetes)and dropped an entire pound, we managed to keep him with us (and out of the NICU) the whole time. He is precious and perfect! A good sleeper from the start, we are currently enjoying 6 to 7 hour stretches of sleep at night. I have no delusions that this will last, but I am currently enjoying it. Our daughter is completely in love and the t big sister and helper ever. So far we have adjusted to life as a family of four pretty seamlessly. And are enjoying the honeymoon period! We are prepping for our first vacation and are excited for it, and all there is to come!
The journey has been long, but the result is priceless! And, believe it or not, I would do it all over again!
For those out there either just beginning or currently in the thick of their journey, ,eep on trying, keep on being positive, and keep the faith! Baby dust to all!
Rebecca, I'm so happy to hear about little Jack, enjoy your good sleeper! My boy who is now a teenager was a great sleeper from the start and it did last! Fingers crossed for you!
Our two girls are getting so big and cheeky! Such different personalities and so many big smiles already! They are actually good sleepers too individually but they do wake one another which is hard. My wife just started back at work so I have been taking both babies and letting her sleep in our sofa bed in the living room, it's pretty tiring and hats off to any single moms of multiples out there as its hard work!
We had our first vacation in the Poconos and the babies loved chilling outside in the fresh air which was fantastic. We are still planning our move at the end of Sept and I am dreading it completely, both the move and where we are moving to! I keep giving my wife big hints about just moving to upstate NY rather than FL but it's falling on deaf ears sadly. It makes financial sense to do FL but I can't believe we are leaving our family and friends and pre baby life!
Congratulations Faith, I hope you have an uneventful 9 months! Good luck to everyone trying, it is totally worth it in the end!
Julie
How are things going Faith?
NCMoms all the baby dust to you. Please do not give up hope as you will have your little one when everything aligns. Good luck on number 2. Try to relax and avoid testing early.
Like Julie said good luck. In the end the heartache and pain getting there is just a blip in the story.
Cari
Prbs2002 just wondering if you ended up using donor 13963??
Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been on in quite some time. Cari, I'm not sure exactly what changed, but I am now 28 weeks alone. So far a good healthy pregnancy. I'm now battling my first UTI during the pregnancy. I am having a baby girl. Her name is going to be Dorothy Faye.
