Also, my RE prescribed Femara for me (along with Gonal-F shots) rather than Clomid (since it's known to thin the lining of the uterus), so that's another option you might look into.

If it's spotting, then I'll take it as a good sign since that can be an indication of early pregnancy, but if it's my actual period, then major bummer.
I'll see how it goes and check back later or tomorrow.
--CSS
For my own part, the spotting has continued and not turned into my period, so I'm feeling hopeful about that. Also, I tested yesterday and today (days 11 and 12---couldn't resist) and got a faint second line each time. Sunday's my official 14dpiui testing day, so I'll know for sure then.
Talk about a process---this is my 7th IUI, plus one ICI. I'm ready!

How did everyone else do?
Smittinbaby. I feel your pain, but you have to get right back into it. Just press forward! This too shall pass ;). I am probally right behind you in the depressing reality check. My 14dpiuu is mon, but feeling the pms, and cramps creeping up. Just keeping occupied with company this weekend.
Hi Aliciacherie, Congratulations on your BFP! I hope you keep us up on the latest. Even though you are beyond this point now!
K ladies, I'm out! ttfn
I'm just using the cheapy test strips (but they haven't failed me yet) and a second line, however faint, is definitely a positive (once you're past the trigger shot window for false positives). So this is really exciting!
I started testing on day 11 and it's come up with a second line everyday since and it's gotten progressively darker (although it's still faint). Since today was 13dpiui, I'm feeling pretty confident. But tomorrow's test will tell for sure and then I'll need a blood test to confirm.
I've done this so many times that I'm almost scared of being overly optimistic, but things are definitely looking good. I'll check back when I know for sure.
--CSS
But I'm still going to wait and see if I get my period in the next few days and then take it from there as far as further tests.
--CSS
I probably am in denial :-) However, I continue to meet with mixed results, so I'm going to remain cautiously optimistic for now.
I did a blood test yesterday and tested positive, but my doctor was concerned that my hcg level was low (25, which is on the high end of the "maybe" category) and she wants me to test again. So I'm going back on either Friday or Monday.
At the same time, I still haven't gotten my period and my possible pregnancy symptoms have continued (my boobs were sooo sore yesterday!), so I'm hopeful.
I'm sorry to hear that things didn't work out for you, LSmsw, and others on this thread, but keep chugging along, ladies!

When do you go in again?
CSS, I will hold my breath for you. It sounds like another nervewracking wait. Sheeesh! I'm sure it's fine?
Aprilfoolz, thanks for keeping in touch! Can't wait to hear about those twins ??. Haha just kidding! I will probally be the one that ends up seeing double, because I keep teasing you. Oh well. I would just hope that they were healthy. So yes we are back on the crazy train?Im kind of getting use to my dejevous routine. Starting the clomid helps me focus on the long term goal. Instead of freaking out about the latest BFN. Ok, well 6th IUI prob Sat the 19th. ? Bye for now ;)
Timesinfity- no worries. Sorry to hear you got a BFN, too. I'm hoping my next IUI will be 6/17 or 6/18 so we'll be going again at the same time. Good luck everybody!
My cycle was always regular until I started trying to get pregnant and then my period would often be 1-4 days late. The time it was four days late, I thought for sure I had to be pregnant, but no go. I'm not sure why this happens, or if that's what's happening with you, but I just thought I'd throw it out there.
Maybe your doctor has some advice?
--CSS
I didn't feel anything and the reason I haven't gotten my period was that I've still been taking progesterone, so I was pretty unaware. However, I woke up yesterday and today feeling normal (i.e. not pregnant), so I had a feeling something might be wrong.
This is hard, but in a weird way, I'm encouraged that I was at least able to get pregnant. And now I have to take a 1-2 month rest, so I have time to think about what I'm going to do next.
Thanks for listening to all my venting on this thread and I hope this doesn't discourage anyone.

I'm so sorry about your loss. I've been following this thread for a while now. It was very interesting. Anyway, please don't give up hope. Your time will come.
I went in Wed to see if I was ready to trigger, but I wasn't yet. I go in tomorrow for another ultrasound and if I have mature folicles I'm hoping for a Sunday IUI.
Good luck gingy, 8 more days to go!!
On that note, ttfn---you're too funny! I too have been renewing my love of brewskies, shell fish, and other goodies. Sorry that you're in the same boat (as far as taking time off), but may as well take advantage of it!
As for the ultrasound "dildo wand," I thought the same thing the first time I saw it. It reminded me of certain, er, products for sale at my local Good Vibrations shop. Not half as much fun, of course ;-)
So true about the unfairness of it all and how you don't become aware of it until you're TTC. I've tried to put that out of my mind though because it'll drive you nuts.
