Thanks @ KBT. Goodluck again with your iui today. Make sure to ask them what the motility rate and count is. If it's too low than CCB has a process to rectify the situation.
My dr considers this first cycle a natural cycle because the only med was a trigger.. They monitored me through bloodwork and ultrasound starting day 13. Then I took the Ovidrel to help ensure I ovulated same time frame of IUI. My friend has committed to fathering a child with me but because we are not in a committed relationship, I was hesitant. We are still friends, I asked his feelings on raising a child he didn't father. He said it doesn't bother him. So my IUI was this morning. My counts were great 85 million and 62% motility. So here's to day 1 of 12. I will have another IUI in the am
Hello, while I'm not in a 2 ww yet, I've been following this thread. I will be doing ivf with donor 13258 probably the end of this month or early next month. We are using double donor. I am 43. We already had 3 cycles when we found out dh's sperm was an issues, which led us to looking for a sperm donor. We are waiting for egg donor to retrieve. I wishing everyone lots of baby dust and sanity during the 2ww.
@KBT That's great! My count was only about 62 mil with 36% motility, but from what the nurse said it's still pretty good. How has your friend been throughout this process? Oh, and are you taking prenatals?
@Dixie70 It's a relief to meet someone else using Donor 13258. He has over 5 reported pregnancies, his profile is amazing, and with the CCB tech raving about how handsome he was it was surprising that I didn't find anyone else in the threads. Babydust to you and your dh =)
I've been on prenatals for over a year because they have higher % an I had a vitamin deficiency so my dr had me take them. I didn't see a need to consult him, I asked if he would be my birthing partner, he said when, I told him 10-12 months. We spoke about my plan a, b, c before though. I will tell him after 5 wks.
I will ask and post on Friday, my initial understanding the progesterone levels are associated with the thickening of your lining. If the numbers are low, it may been a sign of a thin lining which might lead to a miscarriage
Happy Monday! Micah14 I think we are both about half way through our wait! I am suppose to go to MDO to have blood test on the 27th, but we are tempted to test this coming weekend- prior to our MD visit.
KBT- Great news that you had your IUI this weekend! Hopefully we will all get a + with this round!
Thanks fingers crossed , let's us know how it goes. I was going to buy PT but I would be tempted to use it next week. So I will just wait for the blood test (I think)
@Fingers Crossed Yep...today marks 9dpiui. I'm also supposed to do a blood test on the 27th, but I think I'll test this weekend since I'm supposed to get AF by then. I caved and tested at 6, 7 and again this morning. (don't judge me lol) They all came back negative. I should have done like KBT is doing and waited to buy the test bc I literally could NOT resist using them. If this doesn't go as planned I'll remember it for next time.
Micah14- You are a couple days ahead of me *jealous* I agree, if I had the tests there I would not be able to resist taking them! I was thinking of testing this weekend, but don't want to disappoint myself or get too excited either. I will probably give in and test Sunday.
KBT- I am feeling great! No signs of anything. I am trying to keep myself super busy to make the days fly by! I am really hoping the first time worked, because I really dread having to have another cycle with the injections. They made me feel terrible!
I've been keeping a blog on my comp to keep track and the heavy stuff (aches near my ovary, warm sensation, tugging near my u/t and cramps when working out) stopped around 3-4dpiui. Around that time I developed nipple sensitivity and lower back pain. Those last two haven't gone away but the lower back pain is intermittent thank God. lol
Been trying to keep busy bc thinking about it drives me a little nuts. The internal debate over whether or not my breasts have always been this big is the current issue. They are never sensitive even with AF so I'm counting that as a symptom.
Have you guys felt anything similar?
(one FRER test left so hoping to hang onto it till Sat/Sun)
So day 3, I had cramps (normally I don't get cramp, so that was different). My breast are sensitive but they get that way around ovulation any ways. Yesterday and today I've felt nauseous after eating (but from what I read I shouldn't get sick this early).
Almost stopped to get a PT but I took a shot of HCG so figured it's still in my system.
I'm hoping it works this time too. I have three vials left and would love to have the option of a second child.
Micah14- I usually just feel extra hungry for some reason before AF and maybe a bit more emotional. I am feeling the hungry thing, and have been told am a bit more emotional, LOL! I think the roller coaster of excitement paired with the potential for disappointment, and frustration has got me all over the place emotionally.
When I first met with my doctor she said the biggest challenge is the mental and emotional part of this process. At that time, I thought, "Well, at least that won't be me!"... Unfortunately, I now totally get what she meant :(
So I didn't get my period this morning. Not sure how excited I should be by this but I'm still going to hold out til Saturday to test. Babydust to you guys!
Micah good luck tomorrow keep us posted. As for me, had my progesterone test today came back a 10. My dr said that it's great that it is over 5 but she likes to see it at 15. Based on my conversation she said It's not an indication of pregnancy but it has to do with the quality of the lining.
So the weather here is still cold, so I'm laying in bed watch tv. This last week is going to be tough. Having signs of AF but it's not due till the 1st. Thankful I have a busy weekend planned to keep me preoccupied
So I buckled and tested twice on Thurday (11dpiui)and got an extremely faint second line on the FRER test. It was so faint I had to turn it to different angles and compare it to the BFN I got earlier in the week just to see it. Since I didn't use fmu I wasn't sure how accurate it was. I tested with fmu twice on Friday (12dpiui) using another FRER and this time followed up with an Advanced ClearBlue since the digital says either Pregnant or Not Pregnant. This time it was clearly a BFP! I tested this morning just to be sure and again BFP =) So first thing Tuesday I'm going to get the beta test to confirm but its looking good!
@KBT I'm still having AF signs so don't put too much thought into it. In fact, the only thing different is that I never got AF and my nipples are sensitive (which is a symptom I don't usually get). Hang in there okay...I'll be checking in daily if you want to chat.
What day did you get your BFN? I go for bloodwork on Friday, but think I will test Wed/ Thur. If it's going to be negative, I want to know before the dr confirms so I have time to process.
I got BFNs on 6, 7, and 9dpiui. First BFP (barely visible) was 11dpiui. The main reason I tested so early though was bc AF didn't show. RE wanted me to wait till 16dpiui. I noticed a small spot about 8 or so hours after it was due.
Not sure if I want to know the sex of the baby yet but I'm leaning toward YES lol. I still have time to figure it out since I read you can't be sure until around 20wks.
How are you feeling? You're around 7dpiui right? Every woman's body is different so depending on how short your cycle is you may be able to get a good reading around Wed/Thurs.
4 weeks today! Thank you, I can't believe it lol. There's this book I purchased last year that I would not have been able to navigate this process without. "Ultimate Guide to Pregnancy for Lesbians" by Rachel Pepper. It goes through the process from deciding to parent, to selecting a donor, the tww,, what happens if you don't get BFP right away, and then ofcourse once you do get pregnant all the strange things you're body will go through. It's good for the whole donor process if you want to pick it up on Amazon. Oh man I just realized I need to pick up other pregnancy books now =/
My symptoms dropped off around this time too. Since you did back to back that really increases your chances right?
I'm rooting for you. Found another book that might help with the tww. Just started it but it seems fun..."The Pregnancy Countdown Book" by Susan Magee. Baby Dust to you
So I went ui yesterday to buy my test for Wed/Thur. Guess what,....I couldn't take the pressure if it being in the house so I had to POAS. (BFN ). I will say it's still early, I will test tomorrow am and then Thurs am. although I would have preferred a +, it gives me the chance to process and prepare for my appt on Fri if I don't get a different result
So yesterday was 10/9 for you. No BFP for me until day 11 and it was extremely faint. Let me know how it goes today. Remember...FMU is the most potent! And if it's still BFN no worries...you still have a chance up until that blood test =D

I'm feeling fine, had some nausea and cramping early in the week but now nothing. Yes, I'm day 8/7, since I did a back to back.
Congratulations again you are officially 4-5 weeks pregnant.
