Starting iui cycle 2!!

Unfortunately on our first try we got a negative. But we're excited to try again. We had our sonogram yesterday (3-21) and I started my Clomid cycle today (3-22) which my doctor upped my dosage and now take two 50mg a day. We go back on the 31st for our second sonogram. Then schedule for our iui. Hopefully this time we get a BFP!!

    Good luck. I had 3 failed attempts with IUI. We then went to ivf and now have a positive pregnancy. Good luck and don't give up.

    How were your progesterone levels? My doc is very big on using Crinone after a insemination.

    2Mommies...I too am on my second IUI cycle! Last month we got a BFN as well...but we now knew deep in Cycle 2! From the sounds of it, we are close in our cycle! I too am taking the 100mg on Clomid (I took same amount last cycle)...tonight is my last dose. I have follicle check on Monday!
    Here is to hoping you and I have plenty of mature follies next week! How was your response to Clomid last cycle?

    @twomomtwobabies...CONGRATS on your pregnancy! When are you due?! Here is to hoping you have a happy and healthy 9 months! My Dr. placed me on Crinone last cycle, after my progesterone came back at 10.5 7dpo...I asked them if they anticipated placing me on it after insemination, prior to obtaining my progesterone level the following week, and they told me no...HMMM, I found it a little strange...but I guess they are the professionals!

    Wally, I just took my last dose at 2pm Central time. And we have an appointment on Tuesday (3-31) to check my follicles. Hoping they're more mature than my last. And yes it does look like we're pretty close like last cycle. My last cycle of Clomid I ended up getting either a stomach bug of food poisoning. Because I got really sick at first I thought it was my Clomid. This cycle I was perfectly fine. Only side effect was hot flashes. Nothing else. We hope y'all have lots of mature follicles too.

    Twomomtwobabies, I'm not too sure what my levels were the only blood work I did during the TWW process was my BETA test. And they only told me I got a negative and were sorry. Then asked about starting another cycle. Which I had to wait for AF. So we were on out way to the mall 30mins from where we live and when we get there I saw I started. So we had called and had an appointment the next day (3-21).

    2MommiesTTC, Cue the last dose of Clomid happy dance! :) I, just like you didn't have any crazy side effects from it...thank goodness...but it is just so nice to be done so we can move on to the next phase! I have my fingers crossed for you on Tuesday! My follies took forever to grow last cycle, hoping this time is different too! BABY DUST!

    Wally, the feeling of being done with a step is always a great feel. And fingers crossed over here from both myself (Adrian) and Raquel (my fiance) for Monday. I feel this time should be easier to get threw. Just because I won't be obsessing over the symptoms like my first cycle. Or at least I'll try not to.

    Hope you ladies had a fantastic weekend; I am glad it is over because it puts me that much closer to my appointment tomorrow! That being said, you are one day closer to yours as well! This time around, I feel more relaxed about the whole process. I feel like having gone through it once has helped to ease my fears and questions! Wishing you two the best of luck Tuesday!     Our cycle went pretty great. I had three follicles on my right. I had a 15, 11 and a 9. My doctor said for sure the 15 and 11 are gonna drop and the 9 possibly might. I do my ovidrel shot Friday morning and have my insemination Saturday morning. Hope everything goes great. And I hope we will be on our tww together. Keep me updated!!
