    Well, I went to the doctor this morning and got bad news. My follicles had shrunk and my eggs that were there on Monday were gone. The doctor was confused and decided to test my blood. I was devastated this morning. I was so sure that things would go well. I got a phone call this afternoon from the doctor. I ovulated Monday morning sometime before the doctor did the ultrasound. On Monday he saw what appeared to be a recent ovulation sight, but my other follicles had grown so it made him think that I had not ovulated. WE MISSED IT!

    He said on the positive side, my FSH levels are good, I produced several follicles, my lining was great, and now my progesterone level is 24, which is the # he said he likes to see after ovulation. His consolation was that he will have to monitor me more closely because my ovaries are "tricky." Lots of money gone and now I wait. So, I am eating pizza tonight. I have not eaten anything bad for me in months.

    So sorry tnc. Luckily you have many other results in your favor. Pizza does temporarily help. I'm looking forward to this teacher group being filled with lots of exciting positive baby news. We all deserve it. :)

    soooo sorry to hear your news. This process is tough when you're married, but that much harder doing it as a single parent. I feel your frustration and just know we are all here for you.

    Well, after not being able to go to the clinic for the last cycle, (it was on a holiday and they were closed) I will be trying for this one.
    If the 2WW doesn't end in a positive, I'm treating myself to something nice. Either way, I'm getting something to look forward to :)
