    Adarra23 I haven't seen my doctor yet. My first appointment isn't until September 21. It's driving me crazy waiting but they will do an ultrasound then so at least I'll get to see the baby and hear the heartbeat.

    I did however get a whooping cough shot back in the end of March because I was going on a cruise out of the country and went in for a tetanus shot and it had the whooping cough in the same shot.

    How exciting for you to have a beautiful baby girl. I'm hoping for a girl but will be happy with a healthy baby.

    nbound72 when are you doing the invitro?? Good luck to you I hope it works.

    Such exciting news for everyone. I just did my egg retrieval yesterday. They removed 10 eggs. Got a call this morning that 8 of them are fertilized and doing well. They only needed 1 vial from donor. Glad I picked a strong "swimmer" I will go back in either Thurs. or Sat. for the embryo transfer. They said if I have 2-3 strong ones that's what they'll transfer. Anything left that's strong will be frozen. Getting that call today made all the pain and discomfort go away.
    Very exciting time for everyone.

    I am in NY, also. Not the city.... lol. I just began this process today... and have fluttering butterflies all through my tummy..... Tired of waiting for mr. rite, and am ready to be a mommy.

    I wonder if my Mr. Right is my sperm donor. haha He has all the qualities I would look for in a boyfriend. Too bad we can't meet them. :)

    Trini- Welcome. I am glad you have joined us. I will also be having my first IUI this week also:) We will be in the 2WW together. We can support each other in this new experience. I am getting very excited!

    Ms M404- Thank you. I go in tomorrow to have my follicles checked and will probably have my IUI on Saturday.:) I am sending you lots of babydust to you. I am looking forward to going through this process with you ladies. It is nice to know that I am not doing this alone.

    Fingers crossed that all looks well tomorrow. I like the idea of having it on Saturday so that I do not have to miss work and can spend the weekend lying around reading. I have been doing a lot of postive visualization and trying to stay very positive and think only happy thoughts of success. Wishing all of you ladies happy thoughts and success.

    Hi ladies.
    I went to the doctor today and my follicles are too small. One was 9 mm then the other 15 or more where 5 and 6 mm. So I am going to the doctor again on Monday to see if they are growing. Apparently the 5.0 mg of Femera did not make them grow faster. The doctor said he will know more about my ovaries on Monday. He is worried that my ovaries "stall out" as he put it. I'm sad and disappointed. The hope he gave me was that last month I ovulated on day 21 and it is only day 13. He said we have to wait and see.

    I hope trini778, MsM404, Kellsmikey, and nbound72 have much better news. Good luck ladies. Praying for you.

    I had my IUI today. Now is the dreaded 2WWW.

    It is just so frustrating how technical everything has to be. I am so frustrated for you. I do hope Monday brings better news. Waiting is the worst. My fingers are crossed that their is some growth.

    Thanks nbound72. I appreciate it. I do realize that my cd was 11 not 13 as posted, so there is more hope. I am telling my follicles to grow.

    How are you doing? How is this 2ww? You are in my prayers for a BFP. Lots of baby dust.

    Just had my third IUI today so I'm in the TWW with you trini778. Good luck tnc in Monday. I hope things work out. I'm getting frustrated and a little hopeless myself.

    My tww ends on Tues and hopefully it will be the beginning of a great 9 months. This wait is sooo challenging. I go in on Tues at 7am and the doctor calls with the results. Hopefully, he will call after my 4th grade students are gone for the day. I was pumped with so many hormones, shots and drugs that all the signs and symptoms are there but I don't want to read too much into them.

    Hope everyone is keeping busy this weekend. I find that works the best for me.

    I am in Oregon and decided at 39, I better make the choice without Mr. Right too. I am now 12 weeks pregnant with a healthy boy boy. I attempted at home insemination and then changed to a clinic. Good luck to everyone.

    Rough night tonight. Day 10 post IVF and started very heavy bleeding and cramping. Not a good sign. Nurse said I can come in early for bloodwork. Going in tomorrow morning. Please wish me luck.

    Results were negative. After 3 viable embryos were transferred I can't believe none took. WOW!! Never thought IVF wouldn't work. So tremendously disappointed. Thanks, Karen

    Thanks ladies for the support. It was a rough day yesterday. Thank goodness I was off from work. It gave me a day to cry my eyes out. Today is a new day and even though I'm not over it, I will move forward yet again. I will probably go back to IUI. Emotionally, physically, and financially, I don't think I can do IVF again. I find myself needing this discussion board on a daily basis. Thanks for being here. :)

    And, being a teacher, at least your students will keep your mind busy from 8-4.
