hi i am 33 and just starting the process, i too am single, have wanted a baby since i was a teenager but i have held out. It is a big decision to choose the donor because i feel like there are so many others that continually become available but i think in the end, you are going to love this child that we create. I am hoping to start this month or next, i too have the clear blue easy fertility monitor, i think in my case a little confusing cause my supposed dates are not the actual dates the monitor is telling me so frustrating but keeping my fingers crossed. good luck to you ladies, i commend you!
My appt on Monday showed that my follicles were to small and also I haven't had my surge!! I think the letrozole is throwing off my cycle as well???? so I go back this morning for u/s #2 to measure follicles and to check my hormone levels to see if I can trigger for an IUI tmr!!! ??
I am a single 38 year old woman and had my first IUI yesterday. I monitored my ovulation with the Ovulation Predictor kit and got a smiley face. Went in the next day. I'll find out in a few weeks if I'll have another smiley face in 9 months! :)
I am so glad to know that I am not the only one out there. I just turned 30 as well and am eager to get started. My next appointment is on the 12th. I am hoping we can all have good luck on the first try!
I received my tank yesterday and last month I got a positive on my test strip for ovulation on CD13. Today is CD13 and that strip doesn't seem to be working or getting any darker. I'm getting paronoid that I might miss my day. Which digital devices work best???
Jen15: Clearblue Digital Monitor is great. It's pricey (around $130), but very accurate and I got pregnant from second IUI using it (obviously other factors involved getting pregs, but timing is everything right?). Good investment considering how expensive viles are, if it helps to reduce # of IUIs before BFP. Best place to get it is on amazon.com. Remember to buy test sticks with it.
One more tip: it's helpful to combine cheapie strips with the digital, just for comparison.
Good luck! I got a positive result on mine Friday, but this month we are just monitoring. So this Friday morning I go in to check Progesterone levels. And as long as it all looks good, I'll do my IUI on my next cycle.
Pam I hope all goes well for you FX. I did stay with that donor. I'm actually hanging out in baby bump now in a forum with other women waiting for Oct results. I'm down to 1ww and can't wait to see my results :)

I had a few symptoms, fealling slightly nausea, tingly boobs and a strong scent of urination lol. But the symptoms don't seem to be getting any stronger. I tested yesterday and got a bfn, but I still have a few days before af.

Sasha95, hope your appointment goes well.
I'm on CD3 today and starting on my Clomid, and the count down begins :)
I dunno what I'll do if I don't get the results I want on the first try lol...
Anyone in the south jersey area?

Now the fun part begins with the 2WW.
Did you stay with donor 13077? That is the donor I chose before you posted!
