Hello Ladies , Baia I have a lot of support from my huge family. I come from a family of 6 and have 13 nieces and nephews. My mom said to me she would like an even number of grand children I thought that was cute. Im very excited we are on the 2ww together. You and your wife are very blessed.

Dodey ....too funny my Dad said he does not like uneven numbers either !! He wants a #8..I too have alot of family support. I am single(not sure how I ended up in the couples group) lol. I have been dating on and off for 10yrs. I have not found the right guy to have children with. So I have decided to do this on my own. I don't want a child to grow up with a father that is just not right for us !!! I can't wait to conceive!!! It is so exciting just thinking of it, I can't imagine how I will feel when it happens. ok ladies the 2ww is on. just had my 2nd IUI. nervous but excited at the same time. I ovualted in the middle of the night and went in this afternoon for the insemination. Hope my doctor got it right this time. How r u doing Baia? you should be on day 4 right?
My partner Sarah and I inseminated for the 3rd time on January 29th. The 2 week wait is the worst! We tested on February 12th, which was day 14 after the insemination and the test was positive! I wasn't sure about it at first. I was used to taking the ovulation tests which always have 2 lines and you just wait for one to get darker. So when the 2 lines popped up, I was just waiting for one to get darker. :-) Sarah had to tell me I was pregnant. :-) So I followed the home pregnancy test up with a doctor's visit on Valentine's Day and it was comfirmed!
I felt like I was pregnant before I took the test. This insemination was completely different than the first 2. I had a lot of discomfort the day of the insemination...the first two inseminations, I didn't feel a thing. A week after the insemination, my body started telling me I was pregnant - nipples were extremely tender, no signs of my period - no spotting, no bloating, no grouchiness - and I was constantly hungry. :-) I didn't think you could possibly tell that early, but I definitely could.
Good luck to all of you who are still in that 2 week waiting period. I hope it's worth the wait!
Dodey, this is the Month I am sure of it. Is this your 3rd iui? I am on my second. Day 5 today. I feel Very tired but I think that is from the Progesterone. Are you taking Progesterone? I didn't take it with the first iui but they said it will better my chances. So far No signs of being PREGO! Can't wait to hear that we both got a BFP this month. As far as me I felt some sharp pains yesterday 7dpo. Not sure if that was anything but we will see. I go in for a blood test next Monday. We are going to Cheat of course and take a home pregnancy test on Friday or Saturday. I am due for my period on Friday. Good Luck to you all. :) Happy thoughts!
So I am on day 13 and I took a test this morning and it was a BFN. I am one day late for AF. My partner and I are thinking it is because I am on progesterone. I read that progesterone can delay your period. :(
I thought we were taking a month off but we decided not to. So I had my single IUI on 2/20 with a trigger on 2/19. I don't really know how I feel— my headaches last month were actually seasonal allergies. I pretty much feel the same as last month but I don't know if that's a good thing or not.I am having some breast soreness and some back pains but unfortunately this is typical for me a week before getting my period. I broke down and took a test on Thursday and today on Saturday to see if the HCG shot is still in my system and both time I got a faint line. The one today was really faint so hopefully it is out by tomorrow or Monday. Then like Wednesday I can test.
This is my second IUI and hopefully I am pregnant but if I am not next month I am considering doing double IUI. My doctor said its better for frozen sperm (however I don't know if I believe him).
I woke up today and no period. Trying not to get to excited. Im sure Ill test tomorrow if I dont get it but Im usually every 28 days and thats today and I usually wake up with it. Maybe I am going CRAZY. I am 9 days past IUI. Today I was super emotional (which is normal before my monthly). In the afternoon about an hour from before leaving my studio I gagged and ran to the bathroom.
Then I went to dinner with my mom and after I stopped by in-laws and spit up in the bathroom.
Now I have this weird metal taste in my mouth, I tested and it was negative but I see a very very very faint line. I showed my wife who saw it too and she said lets wait and see.
I have been feeling weird cramping on the right side and when I was symptom hunting - I see a lot of people get implantation cramping.

Hi ladies, I got my period yesterday morning. Boo hoo! It was 3 days late. It was because of the progesterone. It delays your period. I actually had to stop the progesterone and 2 days later I got AF. What a tease. So round three here we come. Third times a charm. I HOPE! Dodey and Teilly, sounds like you got your Bfp! Yeah! Keep us posted. So Happy for the both of you. Kiyah the two week wait is stressful but so worth it! Baby dust to All! I will be trying again in a few weeks. :)
hey ladies! i was reading the threads and seen alot of negatives... I just went thru this it was soooo hard and it takes an emotional toll on you. .. I wanted to lend out any help I can..Ladies if you are taking clomid ALWAYS ask what the thikness is of your uterus lining is BEFORE insemination.. i took clomid my first month my lining was originaly 8cmm which is where they want it to be...then come insemination time my uterus lining was 3cmm & they still did the insemination!!! i really dont know alot about this stuff but i asked alot of ?'s come to find out thats why i didnt take... the next time around i told my doc and long story short he gave me a medication like clomid but it does the oppisite when it comes to your lining before my IUI i had them check and my uteus was at 13cmm!!! now im pregnant!! your in my prayers ALL OF YOU <3 BABY DUST*

Hi ladies, how is everything going in the 2ww? I went in for my iui yesterday so now the long wait. This really is the hardest thing ever. This is my third iui so I'm hoping third times a charm. Hope to here bfp from everyone.
dharmabum, I really hope this is the one for you. Have you been taking any meds along with your cycle? They just have me taking Progesterone. Do you have any other kids? I have an 18 month old son with the same donor I am using now. It only took me 2 times with him. He set the bar high. So when it didn't work last month I was a little bummed. I am sorry it is taking you this long to get your BFP. It's going to be this month for you.Good Luck and keep us posted. :)

This has been a very emotional journey for me. Last week my blood work came back not so good. My progesterone level dropped and they put me on progesterone suppositories and in 3 days I had my blood drawn again and my number trippled so that was good news. I have 6 more weeks until my first trimester is over. Then I can breathe a little.

Dodey, that happened to me with my son. My progesterone level was low and they put me on suppositories. It climbed right up. Everything is going to be fine. I know it can scary but just stay positive and calm. So I am 4dpo and no signs yet. Fingers crossed!
Baia thank you. My levels did come up very quick so they were happy about that. Did you have to do the suppositories just for the first trimester or longer? 6 more weeks and my first trimester is over. Then maybe I can breathe a little. GOOD LUCK BAIA FINGERS CROSSED FOR YOU
