  • well, after a bunch of exciting symptoms that were much different than our first iui, the pee test came back bfn on dpo 15. so, we'll be saving up for another iui and will probably try again after the first of the year.

we have 8 vials left, hopefully enough for a couple of kids! we'll get my wife's tubes looked at before trying again. i wanted to get them tested before our first iui but our doctor didn't think we should do it. we've also moved so we have to switch docs.

good luck to the rest of you!
  • Sorry to hear that Mojo. For what it's worth, I think you still have a at least a 20% chance (more if you weren't using a sensitive test). at 15dpo, only 80% of women will test positive using an ultra sensitive pee test.

My best friend tested negative until 4 days past her missed period and had a full term pregnancy and a healthy baby girl.

As for me, I'm just 9dpo. I've been testing every day to see when my HCG trigger would be gone and I just got my first negative today. So now I can start trusting any future positive test. I wouldn't expect a positive for another couple of days at the earliest, and then know it could take a few more days after that.

Good luck with the next round if this one doesn't work. But don't give up yet. Keep us updated!
  • Hey all...we just went in for our 17 week ultrasound and found out the sex of our little baby...it wis a GIRL!!! With all the boys in this guys family, I was almost certain we were having a baby boy, but am excited to announce that we are having a girl. Good luck to all those trying and all those who have become pregnant. I am interested in finding out what everyone else is having.
  • Boomer, that's great!!! Congratulations and thanks for sharing! You and your partner/wife must be over the moon.

Are you interested in a facebook group or something similar? I'm actually in touch with 2 other people expecting babies (boy/girl twins as mentioned on the boards in the single mother's forum and another couple who don't know yet).

As for me, cycle 1 failed, but they know why and we're adjusting the protocol this month. I'm on day 3 at the moment, so I've got nearly a month ahead of me. But I know I will end up getting pregnant with 12434, and I'm glad he can make girls! (even if I have a boy, glad there's a chance of either one).
  • Congrats Boomersooner!!!! That's wonderful!! My partner is convinced we are having a boy for the same reason you did. We will find out on Monday hopefully. It's early (she will be a little over 14 weeks) but we are going for an elective ultrasound with someone who is apparently very good at early gender determination.

I second the Facebook thing. Would make it much easier to keep in touch. CCB has a Facebook group that is completely private so I know it can be done discretely.

Good luck on this next cycle, Riley!! Keep us posted!
  • I have started a facebook group. It is secret, so no one but people in the group can see that you are a member, much less what you post, etc.

I have made myself and geminigirl admins of the group.

If you are pregnant or committed (with sufficient vials) and actively trying to get pregnant with this donor, please reach out to me (rileyccb@gmail.com) or to geminigirl if you would like to join the group.
  • HI, I busted with 12434, ut, I am 43! Had three IUI's with Surfer Boy, then had to move on to another donor due to him being "retired". Gald to hear we have a baby (or babies!) from this super guy!
  • My wife is 29 weeks pregnant with twin boys :-) using donor 12434. We went straight to IVF as she is already 40 years old with below average fertility levels. We were successful after 1 try! These will be our first children, feeling very blessed and excited.
