Are the donors given only the option of extended genetic testing vs just being tested for a couple of things? If they didn’t do the extended genetic testing for 170+ issues is it possible they did one for 102? I came back as a carrier for a syndrome but a donor I am interested in did not do the extended genetic testing.

    @Faith4Baby Whether a donor had extended genetic testing done depends on when they were in our donor program. The Genetic Test Summary (GTS) will show the genetic testing performed on a donor. You can download it for free from each donor's profile page.

    It may be possible to test the donor for the condition that you are a carrier of. Please contact our Genetics Dept at 877-743-6384 for more information.
