Any experience with a hysteroscopy

in Single Mothers by Choice

I’m a 37 year old single woman and I received a femvua a few weeks ago. Polyps were found in my uterus and was told I had to have surgery. I never had a surgery before so I’m very nervous. I was so excited because I thought the femvua would be good and then I could start the IUI process. I feel like this is a set back and I was very discouraged. Has anyone had a heysteroscopy before? And how long after you have one can you do an IUI?

    @Auntof6 I had one recently and was very nervous. It truly was not bad at all! I'm so glad it's behind me in case I need to go "under" again in the future. I wouldn't hesitate. I promise you the anxiety is the worst part!

    I’ve had two hysteroscopies and they are a piece of cake. I was up and moving around the same day of both with minor spotting. Had an IUI about 6 weeks later. Good luck!
