Fertility Acronyms

I've been on the boards here for about a month and I'm really benefiting from the feedback, as well as enjoying the company.

But I didn't realize I was entering a whole new world of acronyms. Some of them are pretty easy to figure out (BFP/BFN), while I'm still a bit mystified by others. I Googled "KUP" and came up with this list of definitions:

Khmer Unity Party
Kingston University Press
Kamerun United Party
Korea United Pharm
Kayelekera Uranium Project
Kent Ultimate Physique
Kernel Updater Project
Knowledge Update Programme
Kriminologie Und Praxis
Kutztown University of Pennsylvania

But somehow I doubt you ladies are referring to the Khmer Unity Party, let alone anything else on this list ;-)

So, can anyone tell me what KUP means and if so inclined, provide a primer for commonly used fertility acronyms. It'll be fun...

    TWW is "two week wait"
    DH is "dear Hubby"
    DP is "dear Partner"
    RE is "reproductive endochronologist" (i think!)

    I also didn't realize I'd learn a new "language" by these boards, but I have come to love the shorthand!

    Please, if there are any others you don't know, just ask! Someone will know and answer you.

    I actually have figured out quite a few- but BFP has me stumped and from what I can tell - I may be the only one!! I think it means a positive test result- but I am lost on the actual acronym!!

    But can someone enlighten me?? lol
