Does anyone have any information on how same sex married couples are to go about their baby's birth certificate? Thank you!

We live in Illinois had our daughter in Nov. Someone from the hospital will bring you the form to fill out. I put my name in Father/Coparent box. No questions were asked and we didn't need to show our marriage certificate, though I did bring it with me.0
