TWW... Which will come first

Hi All,
We are in the TWW, 4dpiui and we just want to know. Luckily it is my wife's birthday so we are getting out of town for a night, but so eager to know. She is due to get her period March 4th, and we not test until the 9th, so it is waiting to see which comes first. ahhh

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Relax and enjoy each other! We go in for our trigger tomorrow, with IUI Saturday and Sunday! We went yesterday for our ultrasound...we have three follies! 2 @ 17mm and 1 @ 16mm...lining was an 8! I have my fingers and toes crossed for you both! Sending lots of sticky baby dust your way! You are almost there!

    I am becoming so impatient. I keep trying to get my wife to test but she is staying strong. We are 8dpiui and we believe she is having several symptoms. Sore breast, had some pink/brown discharge(implantation maybe??) and some more tmi stuff. She may get her cycle this week, but if not then we are testing Saturday and hoping for a bfp. I am driving myself crazy and my wife who manages to stay calm hopefully cooking a baby inside!!

    Ladies! From the sounds of it....I am feeling a BFP coming on! So exciting!!! Just think only a few days to go!!! We just had our first iui of this cycle this morning! good luck...can't wait to hear your happy ending! Lots of baby dust!

    AF arrived today. :( We sure thought we were going to get a BFP... The symptoms started on Thursday, but AF outweighed the little seed I guess. We will be trying again this month

    I am so sorry you did not get your BFP this round...I had my fingers and toes crossed for you both. So glad you are trying again! It will happen...I know it! the TWW just began for us, but AF is due next week for us as well...we have BETA scheduled for the 16th...so hoping AF does not come to visit us this month...But here is to round two for you ladies! STICKY BABY DUST FOR YOU!!!! Will you be following the same protocol?

    We have a ultrasound tomorrow after taking 100mg of Clomid for 5 days so hoping there are lots of large follicles. Last time there was only 1. We are thinking we may inseminate on Saturday, but will have to wait and see. Tanks for check in! It does seem easier this time around. We know the drill and the effects of pills and such. Maybe our more relaxed vibe will work for us.

    Hey ladies, I'm on my second round and have decided to take clomid since I'm 35 to increase my chances. All of the research I've done shows that it doesn't increase your chances for multiples by that high, but I see a lot of you having 3-4 eggs being produced on it. Am I missing some information here?

    I too am on my second cycle of IUI...last month I took 100mg of Clomid CD 5-9...this cycle I am taking the same amount of Clomid, but CD 3-7. Last month I had 3 mature follicles; and ended up with a BFN :( Tonight I take my last dose of Clomid for this cycle; and have my follicle check on Monday...so I am hoping for a great result again! To give you some background, I am 29 and my doctor suggested to Clomid to help give me a stronger ovulation; I ovulate on my own, but not a strong as with the Clomid. So as far as multiples with Clomid; it is a real possibility...but I am proof that 3 mature follicles can still end up with a BFN...Hope this helped you some.... :)

    Hey Courtney,

    I did more research after asking that question and it seems common that even with multiple viable follicles the chances of getting pregnant are still not really high. Tomorrow is my last dose of clomid and I am going in on Tuesday to get an ultrasound and hopefully there will be some big fat follicles ready to get fertilized. I ovulate on my own also but I'm 35 so it makes me sweat a little that I'm creeping up there. I'm only on 50mg of Clomid so I guess I'll see what the ultrasound has to say next week.     Hey ladies. Sorry for the delay here. I started a new job and that has been pulling me away. So we are 6dpiui and plan to test early on 8dpiui. Another couple we have been chatting with just got a BFP with our donor so we are hopeful.

    So regarding the Clomid, Im sure it varies but each person, but our Dr said it increased the chance of twins by 8% and triplets was 6% or lower. My wife just turned 35, ovulates on her own and cycles are super regular, but I think the Dr are trying to increase the chance of more follicles and increasing the likelihood of it working. Our Dr said each short is 30% chance, so with those odds hopefully get a BFP by round 3, if not sooner.
