Hello - I am wondering if its possible to inquire as to the reason a particular donor decided to donate, if you know. This is typically part of the audio interview, but it wasn't for 13268. I have already bought 10 IUI, which I am super excited about, and intend to try to get pregnant with that, but I am kind of curious.

Also, I'd be curious to hear from others who have gotten pregnant with this donor. No specific questions in particular, but i'd be curious to connect.

    We are going to be using this donor in the next month and we are very excited as well. Did you purchase any additional info (specifically extended medical info and childhood photos) that you would be willing to share? My email is kboutwell@metrocast.net. If not, totally understandable.

    I do know of a couple from Cali that recently had twins with this donor (fraternal girls).

    Hello,
    We purchased full access and i'd be happy to share with you, but unfortunately, I don't think any of the information that I have access to can be dowloaded or sent by email. But as I understand it, I believe you get a packet of information with all of that information enclosed when you make a purchase. What can tell you is that the medical history was pretty great -- I don't recall anything major.

    You don't get a packet when you purchase, which I think should be changed. I believe for this amount of money we spend on vials we should get the information. I believe if the baby is born you get the package.

    Ah, I see, well I agree. I think that after that much money, one should get a packet.

    I agree. The full access is awesome and was not an option 4 years ago when I had my daughter but once vials for a donor are purchased that information should be automatically uploaded to the buyers account I feel. I paid for a 3 month subscription but last time I purchased individual donor info on 3 donors which was roughly the same cost. I still have all of that info though still connected to my account. It certainly is something CCB should fix as it is a bummer to need to pay for that stuff twice.

    Have they changed the process of things? When we bought extended info for previous donors it goes into the "Order History" area in you account and you can click on individual things and download them. Any way that it is possibly there? If not, thank you for the offer. I'm curious to see the other pictures and read through the extended medical history. Do you have any info on count and motility?

    Yes, I do agree for the amount of money we all spend on vials they should give a package. We are talking about a donation of sperm from a complete stranger whom you are choosing to help create a life and I think its important to know as much as you can about them. Maybe some day that will change.

    Hi Karen,

    I don't think they have changed the process. I think if you buy a la carte, then you own the item you purchased. On the other hand, when you buy a 3 month subscription, you buy access for three months, and therefore, are unable to own/download what your viewing.

    I can tell you there are no major medical issues. I can also tell you that he's a very cute kid!

    For anyone else reading, a question: on his audio file it says that he rode a motorcycle from one end of south aftica to the other. On his donor essay it says he rode it from south africa to Marakesh (big difference). I am wondering if that's a typo, or if anyone else noticed that?

    Just to clarify a few things.

    1) Family Medical History- This 8-page document is available to download for free on the donor's profile page. As always, if you have any questions about the donor's health or his family's health, you may speak to one of our genetic counselors at 877-743-6384.

    2) Keepsake Packets- If you purchase a Level 2 or Level 3 subscription, once you report a pregnancy to us, we will mail you a Keepsake Packet so that you have printed copies of your donor's information to share with your child.

    Level 1 information is always available to download for free. If you already have a child and the subscription option was not available to you at the time, please contact Client Services if you are interested in a Keepsake Packet.
