in Selecting a Sperm Donor
Hi all - I'm choosing to be a single mom by choice and I'm 38. Today was my 2nd insemination with donor 13314. I will go in for testing on the 29th.

I started on Cycle day 2 with 300IU Gonal-f for 10 days
HCG trigger on Cycle day 12
Insemination on cycle days 13 & 14

Post Wash day 1
20.76 million motile sperm
Grade A

Post Wash day 2
21.25 million motile sperm
Grade A

I have one ovary and fallopian tube, an incompetent cervix, a prolapsed uterus and very low AMH (<.16).

I had a "heart-shaped" uterus which was fixed via a hysteroscopy.

I ended up with 2 follicles (19mm, 20mm).

    I used this donor on June 16th and I'm pregnant! I go in for my first ultrasound in 2 days. Good luck!!!

    this is great news! So, you should be between 6-7 weeks?

    Did you do IUI or IVF?

    If IUI, How amny follicles did you have? What were their sizes?

    It sure is great news! I'm currently 6 weeks 1 day with a due date of March 9th.

    I did IUI and it was our first try! I had 6, yes 6, mature and ready follicles. I'm sorry I don't remember their sizes.

    With that being said, I'm curious to find out if I'm carrying multiples!

    The appointment went well.

    We are having twins! We got to hear both heartbeats too!!!

    I'm curious if you have had any symptoms?

    If so, would you mind sharing?

    I'm hoping for a positive test, but won't know until the 29th.

    Was this your first IUI? If not, which one was this for you?

    Hmmmm as far as symptoms go before I tested there really wasn't much. The only one I remember is sore boobs. But after I tested there was fatigue.

    This was our first IUI. We are very lucky!!

    well that is awesome! I've got 1 more week until I find out.

    I'm on prgesterone suppositories, so I've got every symptom in the book. All due to the progesterone. LOL

    I just had my first IUI on the 3rd of this month. I'm in my 2ww now and the curiosity is killing me!

    I just wanted to update! I had pprom with a water break at 26 weeks and was on hospital bed rest for 5 weeks. I went into full blown labor and our boy/girl twins were born on January 4th at 30 weeks 6 days. We had just over a 4 week NICU stay but we are home!!! Good luck!

    Congratulations! So happy for you! My first IUI with this donor was unsuccessful, but I'm having my next IUI on 3/1. Praying for good news!
