I did an IUI and it was neagtive:( trying again this month. Junio171- where Im having the IUI, they dont check motility or the count? What was your count and is 50% good or no? Thanks and good luck.
I just tried an IUI today with 12647 and they said the motility was 55% which is really good:) I had been concerned since cc2011 had said 14%. They also said the last time it was 50%. i think average live sperm is 60% right?
Faith123 I had my iui on 11/22...and I am a nervous wreck. I have no pregnancy symptoms, even though it is too early. the 2ww is very stressful. It is financially draining even though I have a great job and now since I switched employers I have better coverage. I just want a bfp. I blow some baby dust your way. tina
When I asked about the count and a refund, I was told the count is only guaranteed thawed. My clinic washed the ICI sample so I could do an IUI and the count was low after the wash, not before.
Hi tina... Howd you make out? My 2nd IUI was negative:( the wait was brutal, so I feel your pain. I thought every symptom I had was a possible baby growing. yup, no....just that time of the month:) I am going to try in about a week with my last vial of 12647. I pray you have better luck:) There has been positive pregnancies, but Im not sure how many. CC2011, Do you know what the guarantee is? I think I only had 5 million and am not sure what normal is. Anyways, cc20111, are you trying again?
You can see their guarantees here: http://www.cryobank.com/Why-Use-Us/Specimen-Quality-Standards/
I'm in my 2nd TWW with this donor. The counts were much better this time. 8.9 million sperm with 43% mobility.
ICI will get you as far as the cervix. To do an IUI the sperm is washed so the semen, blood cells, and dead sperm are removed and the good sperm are ready to be put directly into the uterus.

Hello faith123 I don't test til dec 8th. So i am nervous. About getting a refund my last iui the donor had low sperm count so I received a full refund plus cost of shipping. Your fertility clinic will have to send the request to Cryobank. I wish all of you ladiea good luck i know how frustrating it can get.
So excited to say I'm pregnant. And it was my first try with this donor! Keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes well and I'll have a healthy baby in about 8 months. :)
Hey Charli, did you have a healthy baby from donor 12647? I am seriously considering this donor. If you have any photos or more info on this donor, would you please email me at stacy.g@earthlink.net? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Congrats! Have you had your baby yet? I am currently 30 weeks pregnant from this donor and would love to see pics of your baby and/or just keep in touch with a sibling family.
Hi jacqnglo, congrats on your pregnancy. I had my 2nd IUI with this donor on Thursday, so I'm praying it will work this time:-) Did yours work on the first try? What medicines did you use? I took femara on days 3-7, then ovidrel shot on evening of day 12, IUI on day 14. Do you have an audio on this donor by chance? If so, would you mind sending it to me? Thanks. Stacy
Hi gf9308, I know it is stressful. I just did my second IUI and am in the 2 week wait. Ugh, it seems like forever. Do you have any known fertility problems and what medicines did you take? When I called CCB, they didn't tell me the exact number of pregnancies, they just said over 5, but I'm curious how many he actually has. Hang in there. Hopefully, the next time it will work for you. I will be praying for you, and everyone that needs prayers:-)
8 IUI attempts w this donor w no success...yet. 6 w Clomid and Ovidrel trigger. 2 w Follistim, Menopur and HCG trigger. I do not have IVF insurance coverage... 2 vials had low sperm count and motility, the rest have been over 48 million w over 45 percent motility. 9 tries left! Still hopeful!
