After 5 failed IUI's with donor 12215, numerous diagnostic tests, and surgery to unblock my tube/remove a fibroid....we are finally pregnant with donor 12537! Woohoo!!

Better than prego 0 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ya know Mgalbn was using 12215 and switched after 3 failed IUI's....she m/c once with him...wonder if somethings wrong with his spermies????0

I did have 2 failed IUIs with 12215 and 1 success that ended in m/c early on. I think that if he wasn't sold out I would have purchased more tho. You never know what's causing a m/c and I think mine was the luck of the draw since there was only 1. I don't think there's anything wrong necessarily with his stuff, but maybe our genetics just don't match up right? Or my egg wasn't good quality that cycle? There are prolly a lot of people using him and only a few chat about it on here. That's what I'd like to think anyway...:)
I'm really hoping for a BFP on my first try (#4) with my new donor tho!!!0 -
Ya know it's just so strange cuz i've seen a few people who have used one donor and it doesn't work then they switch and poof! BFP!0

I've heard that too. Has anyone heard of doing back to backs with 2 different donors? We are considering this.0

That's risky to do back to backs with different donors! How will you know which one worked?! Haha....just my opinion. And I'm pretty sure it worked this time because I used fertility drugs and had about 9 viable eggs! I'm hoping there's only one or two in there :)0

Well that would be the mystery of it and we're ok with that. We we're just wondering if it could be a problem like different sperms fighting or a conflict of some kind. I guess not. I just want to increase my chances and if the last donor I used is not meshing with my body, it would give us a try with a different donor but both in this next cycle.0

gsalsa, one of the things that would worry me about doing that is you'll know nothing on medical and when the kid grows up, if he/she wants to find the donor...
