in Selecting a Sperm Donor
Hey everyone,

I wanted to know how many vials your drs were recommending per iui? My dr wanted us to use 2 to give us the best results, we did but that is going to be very costly if we have to continue.

    Yes, it is pricey but I see it as worth every penny to bring a precious life into this world. Just think, adoption and IVF are both much much more.

    I am pretty sure that the majority of RE's are doing the two vials/cycle IUI. I did some research and it seems as though most offer 1 due to expense but recommend 2.

    Good Luck. The 2ww is the worst!! I am currently 7 dpiui and going crazy.

    My RE really pushed for 2 vials per cycle but I didn't want to use up all the vials we had. I ended up opting for 1 vial and got pregnant with our daughter first IUI cycle (she is now 1 year old). I am currently pregnant with twin boys and they were also a I vial first IUI.

    Wow thanks for the responses, we will see next week. I didn't use any medication I wanted to try to as natural the first try as possible. If we don't get lucky then more aggressive for sure.
