Hi Ladies, I'm new here. My wife and I are in the planning stages and thinking about starting to try soon. As I'm reading through your posts, I need a key!

    You can click on search and type in abbreviations and there is a list of them there...But here are some that you asked for...

    AF- Aunt Flow (menstrual period)
    BFP- Big Fat Positive
    BFN- Big Fat Negative
    TWW(2WW)- Two Week Wait
    DPO- Days Past Ovulation

    There are sooo many abbreviations, but you'll learn them quick being on these boards. Actually there are posts on here somewhere that have pretty much the whole list. I would do a search on it. Some others I can think of off the top of my head are:

    TTC- trying to conceive
    FX- fingers crossed
    OPK- ovulation prediction kit
    HPT- home pregnancy test,there are tons of different tests, and most of the time people abbrieviate those, like First Response Early Result is FRER...etc.
    FMU- first morning urine
    POAS- pee on a stick (LOL)
    dpIUI or dpICI- days post IUI or ICI
    u/s- ultrasound
