    That's great! Congrats! I have gotten in contact with another person who had a baby girl Nov 8th. I am expecting a girl as well. 3 more weeks! :)

    Join the sibling registry and you will see that he has twin brothers and 3 sisters.

    My husband is the only thing keeping me from putting him on the registry. His family is very hush hush about us needing to use a donor. He says he is okay with adding him whenever, but I don't want to start something with my in-laws. They don't even want our son to know. We plan on telling him as he gets older and starts asking questions.

    The information on the registry is private if you want it to be. For instance, the only way other parents can talk to you is through the bullentin unless you give your email address. Most of us on the registry are facebook friends and we share pics of our children. However, we don't share anything personal unless we talk in private chat. Talk to the people that work at California Cryobank to ease your mind. Also, the kids are beautiful, adorable and I really enjoy watching how all of them are growing. They are all so far born within 6 months of each other.

    I talked with my husband and he is now concerned about the disclaimer on the website saying that donors have attempted to contact recipient families. Maybe I'm naïve but I don't even know how they could get that information unless people were being reckless in what they post. I'm curious to join and I'd love to maintain correspondence with you ladies! I will just have to give him some time to come around.

    Some people post their e-mail on this Bulletin Board, that is how. Sibling registry is private so donors don't have access. There is also a website for all donor siblings of all sperm banks and that is not private so people might be posting email there.

    I agree the California Cryobank website is very private. They don't allow you access right away; they have to verify your information first. Plus, if you don't leave your email you can't be contact by anyone.
