any updates for 12215

is their any updates on donor 12215? i been reading some messages and just read that 2 people had miscarriages with this donor does this have anythig to do with the donor or something else when wrong ?? im kinda worried i just order my vials and i should be having my first iui with this donor in august 29 so is their any info any one can give me or any updates???

    Hi Christy -

    You have nothing to worry about. Unfortunately, about 20% of all pregnancies end in a loss (natural or insemination). This donor has more than 5 reported pregnancies and the few reported losses have no relevance to your upcoming attempt.

    Sperm is basically just a DNA messanger. Once conception occurs, the sperm has virtually nothing to do with implantation or the continued success of the pregnancy.

    In general, it would be possible for a chromosomal abnormality in the sperm to contribute to a loss of pregnancy. However, all our donors are screened for chromosomal abnormalities, so it is not an issue.
