in Selecting a Sperm Donor
Does anyone have any experience with donor 13740 as far as sperm count, etc? Any pregnancies and if so do you mind sharing how many tries it took?

    Bu24bear. I'm actually 8 weeks pregnant using this donor. Worked on the first try, (IUI) with no meds at all. When I called the Cryobank before using this donor there was less than 5 reported pregnancies. Haven't found any posts about anyone giving birth using this donor yet. I will post the sperm count for the vials I received a little later when I can get the paperwork out. Good luck!:)

    Thank you!! =) I will def. keep you posted! I just got the paperwork out. The sperm count for the 2 vials I used are...

    58 m/mL sperm count with 50% motility

    To figure out exactly what is in each vial my midwife said to divide 58 by 2 (since 50% are motile) which leaves you with 29 million. Each vial is 1/2 a mL so divide 29 by 2 again. Which leaves you with an active 14.5 million sperm count per vial. =)

    Hey Bu24bear! I'm doing pretty good, thank you for asking! I'm 19 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby BOY due July 15th!! :) I couldn't be happier. Next month is right around the corner! Good luck to you on your IUI! I wish you nothing but the best, I'm so excited for you! :) Please keep me updated!

    That's great news. Congratulations. So exciting. I will keep you updated for sure. Once you did the IUI procedure did you eat certain things or do anything specific?

    Thank you again! Nope after my IUI I didn't do anything different, just continued to eat healthy that's about it. And I can't lie...that TWW is the loooongest two weeks ever so try to keep your mind busy with other things and whatever you do, DONT GET ANXIOUS AND TEST EARLY. I did that because I was so impatient and tested negative and was so disappointed. But then I retested once my TWW was officially over and tested positive. So stay positive and wait out those long two weeks. :)

    Thank you for asking. I'm doing good. :) Ugh!! I'm on day four of the 2WW. I go in on Thurs for a progesterone blood test then next Friday will be the pregnancy test. How is everything going with you?

    Glad to hear that your doing good! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! :) I'm doing good as well, I'm officially 6 months today! This little boy is extremely active I'll tell you that! 16 weeks left to go and he'll be here already. Time seems to be flying by. CCB told me last week 13740 has more than 5 reported pregnancies. So he definitely has good sperm count.

    Wow. 6 months already!! So exciting. Strangely enough I don't have a Facebook account.     The1KCB, well my first try was unsuccessfully, but I'm ok. Gonna try again once my cycle starts. They are going to try femora with injectables along with a trigger shot this time. Last time we just did femora and the trigger shot. I had 2 decent sized follicles the last time, one at 18.5 and the other at 19.3. I hope all is well with you. I'll keep you posted and you do the same.
