How long does the sample last inside the tank? It was delivered on Friday but we have not completed the IUI yet. Your website states it can last up to a week. Is that from the day it was shipped (Wednesday) or the day it arrived (Friday)? I am waiting for my positive ovulation to move forward and hope the vial is still usable. Thanks for your help!

    Hi faith -

    The guarantee is 7 days from the shipping date. However, the tank should last up to 10 days. Most important is to NOT open the tank until you are ready to thaw and inseminate.

    You can also check with your physician to see if there is a bulk storage tank in the office that can hold the vial for you.
