Any luck with donor 11615?

My husband and I have decided on donor 11615 (one of the donors of the month in August) - has anyone had any luck?

We're schedule to do our first IVF on September 17th. Yikes!

My husband and I are also leaning towards this donor. His general characteristics match what we are looking for. We were also fairly impressed with some of his answers on the essay (specificly wanting to be a donor because he thought about how difficult it must be to be impotent and not be able to father children on his own). Also cute baby photo. I guess that's it. How about you?

My husband and I selected the donor primarily on his physical characteristics. But, like you - I liked how detailed he was on his essay and within his family history.

We picked him mainly because his features sound very similar to my husband's. Also (and I know this is cheesy) we both had a really good feeling about his essay answers and his family history. Being able to see his baby picture didn't hurt - definitely a cutie! Things are getting moved up a little. We're going to do the IVF on September 8-10th. I'll let you all know how it goes!

I just wanted to update - we're 8 weeks pregnant with twins! IVF worked on the first try :)

Also, I loved that he put one of his aunt's occupation as exotic dancer. That made us laugh. Everyone needs a stripper aunt!
