Pricing?

I've found several other smaller banks that do the same things that you do, so why is it that their pricing per vial is cheaper (by about $150). You would think you guys being a lager bank would be able to have better comparative pricing?

The benefits of choosing a California Cryobank include:
Donor Selection: We offer more donors and greater selection than any other bank in the world. We operate labs in Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto (CA), and Cambridge (MA) and recruit donors from many of the nation's top universities.
Quality: Less than 1% of donor applicants pass our strict screening standards. Other banks accept a much higher percentage.
Genetic Counselors: CCB has 3 fulltime Genetic Counselors who interview every donor and assess their medical profiles for possible family issues. No other sperm bank has genetic counselors on staff to review every donor.
History: CCB has been in business since 1977. We have never destroyed a donor record. Our reputation with medical professionals around the world and our financial stability demonstrate a level of reliability second to none. Many banks have a history of destroying records or have gone out of business over the years. If your child ever has questions or medical concerns, you will want access to the bank you used.
Specimen quality: Check with your doctor. Many won't even accept specimens from the "cheaper" banks to poor specimen quality. You are not saving money if the sperm is sub-standard and can't do the job.
Finally: Our clients and their physicians have come to expect a certain level of excellence from California Cryobank. Being the best means never compromising our standards. We provide the highest quality donors, most strictly screened specimens, and unmatched customer service. Do a Google search on the various sperm banks you are considering plus the word "reviews". You may be surprised by the experiences of others who chose the "cheaper" route.
Good luck,
Scott
