Reactivate donor 12362

I know there are a few folks looking to reactivate donor 12362. My partner and I are in the same boat. We have a 15 month old son with this donor and when we finally decided that we did want to try for a second child, we saw he had no vials available.
Since there are a few of us looking to use him again, can we pool our money to attempt to reactivate him? I'm not sure if CCB would allow this, or be interested in help coordinating...

Congrats on your little boy!
Reactivations are pricey because the donor is required to go through the whole qualification process again. If the donor is willing and able, it can take about a year before any vials become available.
In the past, families tried to coordinate to split the cost, as reactivations could easily add up to several thousand dollars (not including vials).
The good news is that now we have a reactivation fee per family, so that clients don't have to worry about coordinating. The reactivation fee is $1,500, which does not include any traveling expenses for the donor (if applicable), or the cost of the vials.
If you are interested in moving forward with a reactivation request, I would suggest calling Client Services. You should ask to be added to the notification list, so that we can contact you if we receive any buyback vials in the meantime. It’s also important to make sure that you have reported both your pregnancy and birth so that you are eligible for reactivation. Client Services will be able to give you more details and help start this process for you.

It has been professionally stored since purchased.
Thank you!
Please be aware that Donor 12362 is limited for sibling use. Only clients that already have a pregnancy or birth are eligible to purchase additional vials.
