Available vials of 13410?

Hi, I got pregnant with 13410 the first IUI but miscarried at 8 weeks. 2nd IUI didn't take. I'm hoping someone has vials available that I can use. I'm 43 and have 2 cycles left before I turn 44 and want to use this donor. Unfortunately he's not available for another few months. Let me know if you have any for purchase. Thanks so much!

  • Hi! I am trying with this donor as well and stocked up at his last release. I can spare at lease one vial for you. I'm at the very beginning of the dreaded 2WW right now and really hoping this will be it for me. Maybe post your email so we can chat off line about how this would work? I've been sending all you ladies trying with 13410 baby dust and just waiting to post until I had good news to share.
  • Hi there, my email is meadtracy@comcast.net. One vial would be great, I really appreciate it. Once we email I'll send my number too. Thanks!

  • Hi MarisolSC. I am also in the 2ww... i am on day 7... Good luck to you.. Keep me posted!! I will too!!! :)
  • Hi Jennifer - It's nice to have someone to share the wait with! And you're using 13410 too? I'm 5 days in today and time feels like it's standing still. Trying to stay busy... How's it been for you? Is this your 1st IUI?

Good luck to you too! It would be great if this was the month for both of us!
  • Hi ladies! I'm headed in for my IUI this morning. Fingers crossed! Hope you both are doing well and not stressing too much? I know how hard the second week of waiting can be.
Best wishes for all of us!
  • Tracy how exciting. I hope everything went well for you today. I've been staying busy and just crossing off the days and hoping for the best. It's hard to think about anything else when this is something you want so badly... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of us too!

Jennifer how are things with you?
  • Deanna, I've been ok during the day, very busy at work and at night I've even managed not to think too much but it's obviously present because I'm not sleeping very well. So today is day 18 and I'm usually a 28 day cycle girl but with femara it's been a 30/31 day cycle so I have a ways to go. You only have a few more days right? Will you test at home or wait for the blood test? Any feeling one way or the other? Fingers crossed, fingers crossed. Let me know if you want to share numbers from the samples. I think he's a really good donor. - Tracy
  • I did blood test yesterday so I should know tomorrow. This is my day 15/16. HPT show negative but I still trying to be hopefully!!!
Good luck to you all. If this isn't my month, I will jump right back into after next cycle. :)
  • It crazy how the progesterone can make you feel pregnant. it has made me nausios and crampy. I will know my results tomorrow. I started using home pregnancy tests on day 12. They are evil. Next time I think I will try not to at all. Just wait for the blood test. Marisol, how are you doing? Good luck Tracy!
Also, did you girls do one vial each time? This was my first IUI, but my doctor uses two vials over two consecutive days.....
    Jennifer
  • Jennifer, Day 19 for me. I was obsessed last month and started testing 8 dpo. Not doing that this time around. Taking every day, keeping busy, going on with normal activity. I may test on day 28/29 which is right before my blood test. Try not to drive yourself nuts. I only do one vial but I don't really have fertility issues, I'm just single and ready for a baby. Good luck tomorrow! Let us know! Tracy
  • Tracy, Same exact with me. I don't (that I know of) have any problems. I am single and want my baby. This is my first time ever trying so I really thought and hoped it would be a good first time. (especially with the two vials and two consecutive days)
I am waiting for the doctor to call me today with the news. Today is my day 16/17 since the IUI. Good luck Tracy... and you're right. I will NOT NOT NOT NOT use a pregnancy test again. it is torture. :)
  • (today is my day 28/29) I did the blood test 3 days ago.. on my 26/27).
  • Hi Ladies -

It sounds like we all have a similar story, I too have no known fertility issues just single and ready to start a family. I've been using my OBGYN throughout this process which if I had to do over I wouldn't. She's been my doc forever but she's just not set up to handle the last minute appointments, weekends and general timing of all of this... and she doesn't analyze the defrosted sperm so I have no info to share on that. If this isn't my month I'm switching to an RE next month.

I've driven myself crazy in months past testing too early and so have decided just to wait until I'm late, although with the stress of going through all of this my cycle has become so crazy I don't even know when I'm officially late. I think over the weekend I should know one way or the other.

Jennifer I'm so hoping this is it for you. Thinking positive thoughts!

Tracy how goes the wait? My house is immaculate, my garden beautiful and thriving, I've fixed every little broken thing I can find and have almost run out of chores and errands to keep me busy. It can't be over soon enough!

    - Deanna
  • Hi Ladies.....
I just got word that my first IUI did not work. Unfortunately.

I am already starting the next process, I just had the doctor call in the femara prescription. This WILL be my month. This was my
Deanna, how many times have you done IUI?
I wish you all the BEST BEST of luck!
  • Well, I'm officially late and took the dreaded test this morning only to get a BFN. I'm 17 dpo so the chance that it's wrong is pretty minimal. This was my 6th IUI and I'm not going to pretend I'm not feeling totally defeated at the moment. I plan to take the day to wallow in it and then start preparing for the next cycle.

Jennifer, I'm sorry this wasn't your month either but you sound positive and ready to try again.

Tracy, hope time is passing quickly for you and that you bring us some good news very soon!
  • Hi both,

I'm so sorry to hear! I know how disappointing it is! Deanna, I am so glad to hear that you are going to see a specialist. I think it's important to have a full picture on where your numbers are, it can just give you that much more confidence about your strengths and the information to deal with any weaknesses.

Also, with the specialist they'll analyze the sperm not only to give you the best ones but if the sperm is at a certain number, cryobank is obligated to refund part if not all of what you paid for that vial. With our donor I'm not worried about it because his numbers are great.

The thing about dealing with the specialists is they are there for you 24/7 so when you test positive, you schedule the IUI for the next day. There is no waiting, if there is, choose someone who doesn't make you wait till they're available. Mine is open 365 days a year.
  • Sorry, I posted the above before I was done :-)

Jen, do some research on the back to back if you haven't already. Your doctor knows best based on your numbers but the research I've read says it doesn't really increase chances. I think it's just what the doctor thinks is best depending on the patient.

Day 24 for me and I don't feel any different. Femara has completely thrown me off my body and I know my body so well. I did not take it my first cycle which is the one I did get pregnant in. I decided to take femara afterwards just because we (my doc and I) thought "well, can't hurt and can only help". But as I said, it's thrown me off and physically I just can't tell when I'm about to ovulate so I'm relying soley on the opk tests. I need to figure out whether I want to continue or not take it and see what happens.

If this cycle doesn't take, I'll take September off since I'm out of donor vials and hope that this his vials become available promptly so that I can start again in October.

Deanna, take a few days, wallow. You are entitled. But then pick yourself up and know that by making the necessary changes, you are positioning yourself in the best way to acheive what we all want...motherhood. I'm here if you want to talk this week. I'm having a staycation in Boston and just heading to the beach.

Jen, best of luck on femara. I didn't really have side effects when taking it. The thing that threw me off is that normally (not taking it) I only cramp the day after my period starts. Taking it, I started cramping about 10 days prior to it starting which totally makes you think, "am I pregnant". I have to say this cycle is so much better than last, mentally, since I refuse to test and just keep counting down the days. Hoping but preparing.

It WILL happen for all of us! Feel free to email me if you don't want to use the message boards. Hope I didn't come across as preachy at all.

Let me know how you're doing and I'll keep you updated as my day 28/29 approaches.

    Best, Tracy
  • What a rollercoaster all of this is! Ups and downs and then wait wait wait, it's definitely teaching me some patience. I'm out of my funk and already back at it. Femara too for me this month, and a trigger shot and much more monitoring than in past months. I'm feeling more optimistic and hopeful that this will be it.

I'm on vacation too this next week and headed out to camp with some friends. Tracy hopefully you had a nice relaxing staycation --- the beach is a great place to get centered and find some peace! You must be getting close to testing... any day now?

Jennifer how's the femara treating you? This is my first month on it and it's twisting my gut up with all kinds of yuck, but it's worth it if it works!

Hope you're both well! - Deanna
  • Hi Deanna,

Glad to hear it! You sound positive! Keep us posted on how you're doing, sending you good thoughts.

Blood test was negative this morning. I'll skip this month and try again when his vials come back up.

Hope you both have great vacations! Talk soon!

    Tracy
  • Tracy.. Dont give up!
Deanna, I am so sorry. 6 iui's, i am sure it so frustrating... and good for you, already on your femara... so I assume you are doing it again in two weeks? Are you considering IVF? For me, if this current cycle is negative, I really think I will go right for IVF.

I cant believe how fast two weeks went since my negative.
I just did IUI again today. Doing it tomorrow also. Follicles looked good, one was 30! (hope thats not to big! But doctor said its fine) I just am so nervous that doctor picked the wrong day. I feel maybe I am properly ovulating yet... anyway, all in gods hands! These are my last two vials for this donor as well.

we will all get our BFP's.... i feel it....
  • Hi ladies,
Turns out my doctor doesn't know best. It was only my first and second time doing this so I would think my doctor would know best. She just guessed my ovulation days and really did no testing on me. These numbers you talk about, I don't even know if she did this. We had a confrontation in the office the second iUI day. I knew something was off and asked her a list of really detailed questions and she could not answer them. It is very sad. she wasted two months, three vials, money and my time. She sent me to her partner because she was off one of the days and then chose to not take responsibility for her partners ultrasound decisions. long story and I probably shouldnt discuss it here since I ay be taking further action... but i will never go to a regular gyno again. This is really all about timing and shouldnt revolve around a doctors schedule. I am doing my research on good fertility centers in my area and will do it that way now. Wishing you the best of luck girls!
I am off this week too.. we all need some relaxation and time... :)
Deanna, the Femara did not have much of an effect on me. I really didnt feel anything different. How may mg are you taking? I hope you have some great time off.
    positive energy your way ladies....

  • Tracy, ugh! I'm sorry to hear of your negative. I was hoping I spread a little good karma your way and this would be a positive for you. I'm with Jennifer though, don't give up, stay positive, we know you can get pregnant so it's just a matter of time. You're in my thoughts. When is our guy scheduled for his next release?

Jennifer, I was in the same situation with my OB. Well intentioned but not well educated or up to date on how all this works. Her advice on timing my 1st insemination was so off I was shocked. And then to deal with maybe we'll come in for you on a weekend and maybe not was just so stressful. I'm seeing an RE this cycle and trust in her knowledge and experience. My advice would be to make an appointment with an RE ASAP, it can take a month just to get in for a consult so either way you'll have something scheduled. Are you a no go for this cycle or just starting the 2 WW?

I took 100 mg letrozole (femara) cycle days 3-7 this month and had an HSG, basically an X-ray test that looks at your uterus and fallopian tubes, every test I've done comes back good so hopefully it's just a matter of time. Thursday's ultrasound showed 2 good sized follicles and one smaller, I did the trigger shot last night and go in for my IUI tomorrow. Come on lucky #7!

IVF isn't out of the question for me but my insurance covers absolutely $0 of IVF and it's so incredibly expensive. We need to change that! If I was a man with erectile dysfunction insurance would cover all the tests and whatever medication I needed but as a woman wanting to start a family I'm on my own, it shouldn't be this way. OK that's my diatribe for the day.

Hugs and good luck to you both! - Deanna
  • Hey ladies.
I am switching donors. I just purchased my new vials. I do have one available of 13410 if anyone would want to purchase it from me. I need two vials for this week and our 13410 donor will not have any available until the 16th (maybe) So i was forced to chose a new one. Anyway, Let me know if anyone would like a vial.
I hope we all keep in touch. I switched to a fertility doctor and am going at it #3 next week. :)

Deanna, wow, Your story with your 1st insemination sounds like mine. I was going to do the HSG test but may just wait until after this 3rd time, if needed. I know, unbelievable about the insurance companies. So you did your 7th IU on August 24th? I am thinking you should know by now? I hope and am crossing all my fingers for you!!! I hope you have good news for us...
  • Hi again Jennifer -

I wish I had good news to share. My cycle was only 25 days last month which has never happened before in my entire life, I think it was the Femara. At least I didn't have to wait those last few torturous days. I'm ready to be done with IUIs and move on to the big guns but my RE thinks the HSG can give you a small fertility boost and has suggested 'a couple more' tries. Poor lady, I actually screamed at her through the phone. Ultimately, we decided on one more try so I will go in for my follicle check Monday and then most likely IUI at some point later in the week.

    We'll be waiting together again!

Tracy how are things with you?

    - Deanna
  • Deanna,
What does it mean if your cycle is only 25 days? Interesting because mine is always about 28 and after the extra femora (7. 5mg/day) mine changed too, only 25 days too.. I luckily made it to the new fertility place just in time - day 5 of my cycle so I started femara again days 5-9 and just did my IUI on Friday and Saturday morning. Do you do double days IUI? I am spending so much on vials and not sure it really increases the chances. So Deanna, Yes, the HSG does give you a fertility boost but have you not been taking this? Since my first iii, this is all i know. hsg trigger and femara. I had to give myself the HSG in my belly on thursday night.. (had iui 12 and 36 hours later) Interesting because the last doctor made me do it in the back. So when did you do your IUI? We are in the dreaded 2ww together! I have an extra vial of 13410 if you need. let me know:) His were not available when I needed two :( So i chose a new one. :) sending you so much baby dust!

    Jennifer
  • Jennifer, you're back in the 2WW --- how fun!

My RE says the meds can speed things up (ie shorten your cycle) so this month we're doing progesterone support as well. I think my RE was referring to the dye test of my fallopian tubes (HSG) when she said I could have a slight fertility boost after. I did that last month and for the first time also added the HCG, or trigger shot, about 40 hours before my IUI. We don't do back to back IUIs. From everything I've read one well timed IUI is just as effective. But, just like everything in this process there's room for debate and doctors' opinions vary.

I'll have my IUI in the morning and be right there waiting with you again. Let it pass quickly and both of us get our BFPs this month!

    Deanna
  • I think I will do that also now, just one vial. My doctor did progesterone also. But now at the fertility place, they say that it is not necessary until knowledge of pregnancy. Today is my day 11/12 and i was so bad and took a pregnancy test today :( negative. I am still hoping that it is to early and I still have a chance. I did not do the dye test but definitely should have. I was really hopeful this time because I have had some symptoms. Are you in the 2ww now also? I think I will skip the 4th IUI and go for the IVF.. What do you think? Wishing you all the best.....
  • Jennifer how are you? Yes, there are so many decisions to make along the way, which drugs and tests and how many IUIs before moving on to IVF... I have a lot of trust in my RE though and together we talk through what the best course is for me. Hopefully you feel the same about your new doc? The best advice I've gotten on all of this is that once you set a course trust you've made the best decision you can with the information in front of you and don't look back.

I'm still in the game this month so keep your fingers crossed for me!

Sending you lots of positive energy! - Deanna
  • If anyone has a vial available of this donor and wouldn't mind parting with it I would truly appreciate it. We want to start our IUI earlier than planned and he isn't released again until mid December. If you have one email me at jjr11385@gmail.com
