Saving for baby...All advice welcomed

I am feeling a bit discouraged today, i have searched my top donors and finally have insurance where i can make sure my body is in the best place and i just feel on hold due to finances. I'm saving and saving and feel like once i have the funds i am putting so much focus on this one shot beacuse it is just so expensive! I feel like all the funds i will spend just to try drains everything, anyone else feel like this? How long did you wait or save before trying? I'm kind of against the clock at 26 due to concerns with my moms fertility and just getting a bit discouraged.
