Sperm Count/Motility

We inseminated for the first time this morning. We used 1 IUI. The procedure was quick. There was some pain while positioning the speculum, but it only lasted few moments. I did experience some spotting and discomfort about an hour later, but all pretty normal as explained by the specialist.

Now here's where I need YOUR opinions!!!

Our Donor Sperm AFTER washing:
Sperm Count: 7 million (was told 6-8 as good)
Motility: 49% (was told anything over 30% is very good)

What do you guys think about these numbers? What are your experiences? I think I'm in pretty good shape, but you just never know. Perhaps I'm just over thinking/over analyzing...

Thanks!!

Okay, I had to locate our numbers, but here they are...

27.4 million post thaw for IUI sample with 72% motility. Our doctor told us that those were excellent numbers and he was right...BFP on the first IUI.

But, he also told us that it only takes "one" to get pregnant.

    I'm praying for your BFP!

    MistyandCarla,

Wow, those are AMAZING numbers! I think I have count envy LOL...!!

I'm only 3DPIUI and have a ways to go. The 2WW is absolutely agonizing. I have my fingers tightly crossed for a BFP!

Congrats to you and yours. Let's hope I'm as fortunate as you. Oh, btw, my parnter's name is Misty. :-)

Thanks so much for the support!!
