Side Effects of Clomid

Hi! I am just on day 8 of my cycle and taking 75mg of Clomid on days 5-9. I have experienced varying side effects all of which are tolerable at this point although they have been annoying to say the least. The worst is that on the first day of clomid, sex was extremely painful. I never have painful sex and wondered if anyone could shed some experience on how long this side effect will last.....? Does it stop after my last pill for the cycle or does it continue throughout the month? Please advise. Thank you in advance.
