LH surge, basal body temperature

Hi everyone, how many days after you detect your LH surge should your basal body temp rise above the coverline? For example if I detect my LH surge on cycle day 16, which cycle day should my temp rise above the coverline.( I've had it occur 2 days after and the day after the surge). From what I googled this sounds right?

    I recieved a positive OPK on CD15 and my BBT went up on CD16.

    Check out fertilityfriend.com. This is what I used to track mine, plus it has lots of information about tracking too.
