Can someone break the meaning of all this down?

My first two vials of sperm used were:

First IUI: Volume 0.5, sperm concentrate 131. x 10 (6)/ml, total sperm 65.5 x 10 (6), motility 70%, progression 3,
total motile count 45.9 x 10 (6)

Second IUI: Volume 0.5 ml, sperm concentrate 87 x 10 (6)/ml, total sperm 43.5 x 10 (6), motility 65%, progression 3, total motile count 28.3 x 10 (6)

And p.s. the (6) is in sub script I just don't know how to do that in this computer. :) Millions?

What does all this mean? Just numbers since it ONLY takes ONE!?

  • I would get clarification from your doctor. The info I received was much clearer. Before count and motility and post wash count and motility. The motility is more important than the actual count. 65% and 70% motility isn't necessarily bad. I got pregnant with twins after my 2nd IUI with 60% motility and 29 million sperm (I used injectibles & trigger shot).
  • Thank you... that gives me a little hope. :)
