Question regarding at home ICI...

I was wanting to do an at home ICI but was told by my specialist that by law they are not allowed to give me the sperm that I have purchased and that only they can do the ICI. I have read other womens posts that they are doing ICI at home and was wondering where the loop hole was so to speak?! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    That's strange, why would your doctor even have the sperm? Don't people doing at home inseminations just have the sperm shipped to their house? That's what I would do if I was planning to do it myself.
