Have any of you ladies gotten bacterial vaginosis after an IUI?

    no, but i had it before and had to skip two cycles and take tons of antibiotics to get rid of it. my husband had to take antibiotics too. Our RE wouldn't perform the IUI as long as I was testing positive for BV

    thanks for the response staerae, did you use metronidazole as your antibiotic?

    yes, i took metronidazole and although ive heard that it couldnt be transmitted to my husband, my RE put us both on it. We also had to us condoms :(, which we didnt do faithfully and we were later put on ofloxacin which worked immediately!
