First timers success I what to hear from you! If you did ICI or IUI with first time success
With or without fertility drugs

I did two IUI's and got pregnant with both of them on the first try.

I only used one vial each time. 150 mg of clomid with the novarel trigger shot and prometrium. Unfortunately i lost the first one in miscarriage at 5 weeks. I did my second IUI 4 months later and got pregnant again first shot. My daughter is now 4 months old and DH and i are thinking about trying again for a second child. I hope it works as easily this time around!

I concieved on the first try! No meds natural cycle with IUI. My daughter is now 5 weeks old!!! We sure did get lucky since our donor retired after we bought just one vial!! And thank God it worked!!!

CC81 Your story gives me hope. I did 7 IUIs and lost my baby right at the 4th month. However, I did get pregnant on first cycle with Follistim. I'm planing to have insemination in the 1st part of June which will be four months after my miscarriage.A lot of people had opinions on why I lost my baby...saying it wasn't meant to work this way. I know that I can't listen to them,and reading your post gives me hope that it can work the next time.

smaciegracie...some people are uneducated and say ignorant, hurtful things...I'm sorry. I think that they just don't know what to say in that situation and they just blurt out what's on the tip on their tongue. Losing a baby is never "meant to be". I'm glad to see that you're going to do another IUI in June...may you be our next success story!
