Second IUI after the New Years

Hello everyone. I did my first IUI last month with no luck going for my next cycle in Jan 2013. RE will be putting me on clomid with trigger. I have high this next round. Anyone else doing or did the same. Would love to hear any stories!

    Hi skbaby :) I will be having my 2nd IUI this cycle also. I used Clomid with trigger in Sept and got a BFP on my first try. Unfortunately it ended in mc around week 6. After taking a month off I am going again. Started Clomid yesterday (cd5). Where are you in your cycle??

    I also had first IUI last month with a BFN. Round two is the first week of Jan. I'm on a low dosage of gonal-F. Fingers crossed that it works. Good luck to all!

    Sorry I'm late my cycle should begin day 1 on Friday with clomid on day 3 @spinm1980 please keep me posted on your progress :). Gottlieb we may be doing things around the same time. Keep me posted also. Good luck guys!!!!!

    Good luck!!!!! I start clomid Monday cd5 my RE changed it from cd3 to cd5. Spinm1980 did you do a trigger this time again

    Round two is tomorrow. I have around 5 mature follicles, but still with a 20% chance of a BFP. Positive thoughts and moving into the 2ww. Good luck skbaby and spinrn1980!

    I also am starting my 2nd IUI cycle this month. Did the first one in November and got pregnant, but it didn't stick. Doing good though and feeling positive. Doctor says this was a good thing. That it tells him a lot about my fertility. We did clomid 50mg and the trigger last time. Doing the same this time but upping the clomid to 100mg. Had the baseline sono yesterday and started the clomid. 2nd sono is on the 10th. Good luck and baby dust to everyone.

    My u/s is the 15th our cycles are somewhat close Carrie. Keep me posted

    That's cool, I will keep you posted and you keep me posted as well. I like coming on and seeing that we aren't alone in this. We aren't telling our families until we are already pregnant so no one knows, but they will be so excited once they do.

    I'm also doing my 2nd iui this month. First one was a bust in October. Had iui on 1/02/12. Gl and baby dust to u all!!

    Good luck Sasha and try not to let the 2ww drive you crazy....I need some good relaxation techniques for the next time myself. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Relaxing is the difficult part esp. since intense exercise should be limited. That is kind of killing me. Maybe try walks and meditation. I am writing my dissertation so that helps. Does anyone know of anything helpful for implantation besides baby aspirin and pineapples?

    CarrieandDee sounds like we are going through the same thing. I got a BFP after my 1st IUI in Sept but it didnt stick either :( Least I know im fertile :)

    skbaby I took Clomid cd 5-9 also. And when I went for my follicular US on cd13 they triggered me immidiately. I went for my IUI the next afternoon. I had 5 mature follies and a couple small ones. FINGERS CROSSED!

    Oh and Sasha95. Are you still using 12922?? I used him this cycle. Was my last vial so hope its a +!

    Spinrn1980, no he was out when I needed him so I went with 12598....and now they retired him so I pray this works!!! Ugh!!

    Had my second IUI this morning, so now the 2ww is upon us. I had 3 really awesome follicles on thursday and did my trigger yesterday. Wish us luck! Baby dust to all!!!

    tested today with a BFN. i have been cramping dpo 8,9, and today 10. can this be from the progesterone? maybe no dice this cycle, wish these cramps would stop and on to the next...

    What day are you on right now? Wait for your blood test maybe? Sometimes if you test too early it will be negative. I'm not sure about the cramps though. I don't remember having cramps last cycle. I did get pregnant but it didn't stick and I cramped pretty good right before i got my "period"...Dr. didn't call it a miscarry, just said i didnt stay pregnant. Good luck and I hope you feel better.

    I'm on 11 dpo. carrieandee: maybe i have something similar happening. The cramps are gone for now- so that is a relief. They were uncomfortable.

    I think I'll wait a day or so and see what happens. Good luck to all- stay positive!

    Ok so I went and had a u/s Tuesday and my follicles were small so my RE put me on clomid again in the same cycle for 8 days I've never heard of this before. Have any of you guys????

    So I have had a very stressful week and a half since my iui. My mom has been in hospital and was very sick and in ICU...she is out of ICU now but still in the hospital with no discharge in the near future. I have been so overwhelmed and stressed I am concerned about the success of this iui because of the stress. Not testing till this weekend, any words of encouragement or advice for me? I have been relaxing as much as possible but it has not been easy.
    Felicia- How are you doing? have you retested or had blood work?
    skbaby- I have read some blogs recently where some of the women on there have mentioned an extended length of clomid use...all depends on how you respond and what your needs are I guess...so far clomid for 5 days has been good for me. They can never find my left ovary though....not since my first u/s. However my right responds well so they say no worries...

    Hi Everyone,

    Carrieanddee sorry to hear about your mom and all of the stress. My partner got pregnant during a super stressful time, so I wouldn't worry too much about it not working because of all of the life stuff. I know easier said...

    I went in today and it turns out that I have a cyst (so that explains the cramps). They want me either to wait a month or go on birth control for 2 weeks. I am a little worried about the side effects of birth control. I have an important exam coming up and don't really want to be confused or depressed, but maybe my ovaries need a break. Ah, decisions...

    Went to the RE today and had a u/s and I missed my ovulation so we had to cancel this cycle... I've been crying all day I don't know why it was just timing issues but I'm really disappointed.
