Hi CCB. Have any of these donors had reported pregnancies and reported births? Please specify. Trying to make a very tough decision on who to choose for my next IUI.

    Hi T -

We receive a lot of questions regarding reported outcomes and I just want to share a few details for anyone that might be reading this thread.

Please keep in mind that reported pregnancies and births have no bearing on your personal chance of success. We ship specimen to women all over the world who do different types of procedures. Whether a client gets pregnant or not from a home insemination or an IVF procedure with donor eggs does not affect your chance of conception.

Type of procedure, cycle timing, maternal age, and number of mature follicles are some of the variables that can affect one's chance of success. We recommend having a conversation with your physician if you have any questions about this.

All of our donors go through the same stringent screening process and less than 1% of applicants actually become CCB donors. All of our donors are capable of achieving pregnancy. You can read more about our screening process here: https://cryobank.com/How-It-Works/Donor-Qualification/

We offer a diverse selection of over 500 donors which gives our clients an assortment of options. This also means that some donors will sell out faster than others. Reported pregnancies are usually linked to the popularity of the donor's characteristics and/or the length of time he's been available on our catalog.

When choosing a donor, it's also important to consider what your future child may ask about down the road. When your child turns 18, if he/she is interested in contacting his/her donor through our company, there’s a greater chance that an Open Donor would be willing to respond back to your child.

We understand that the selection process can seem overwhelming, but in the end, it's most important to pick a donor that's a good fit for you and your family.

Donor 14013 - 5 or more reported pregnancies, yes for reported births

Donor 14426 - 5 or more reported pregnancies, no reported births yet (births are expected later in the year)

Donor 14535 - No reported pregnancies or births yet (donor has only been on the catalog for 2 months)

    Regards,

    Nicole

We were attempting to locate an email address for contact of successful pregnancies. The registry indicated a boy was born on 12/3/16, and a girl was born on 9/13/16 from donor 14426. Our daughter was born on 1/29/17 from donor 14426. We were just reaching out that our children, who are half siblings, would be able to one day get to know each other.
