First IUI

My partner and I tried for our first IUI today! I went for my US yesterday and my doctor was excited. Follicle all beautiful and my uterine lining was thick and waiting! Today even the comment was made that it looks better then some of their patients on clomid (no offense to those who are! I am trying naturally first since I have no hormonal issues and my HSG was spot on)

So I had it done on my lunch hour (so nice to work in the same hospital as your doctor :) ) and we shall wait. Will be going in for a progesterone test too on day 21 just to be sure. I'm excited and a bundle of nerves!

    The US I did was to see if we could see a follicle :)

    However, no. The first one did not take. I am going back on the 19th for another US and doing the ovulation tests to correlate and hopefully be lucky the second time around. Not sure what else I can do besides that since we rather not do medications unless we have to since I'm all healthy

    This Tuesday at 10 am I had my LH surge per the opk :) Wednesday we tried again with the IUI so alas, 2ww, here I am!
