Frozen sperm and baby gender.

I have read some studies indicating that IUI with FROZEN sperm tends to produce more girls than boys. Do you have any data on sex ratio of children conceived with frozen sperm of your donors? I will be doing IUI with frozen sperm and am really hoping for a boy as I already have a little girl. Do I still have 50-50 odds?

    I spoke to one of our medical directors regarding your question. She said that medical literature generally finds "no significant difference" in gender outcomes as a result of artificial insemination or use of donor sperm.

    Some facilities utilize sperm sorting techniques to increase the chance of having a boy or a girl. This process can be costly and/or only applicable to certain patients, but if you are interested, you may want to ask your physician more about this.
