follicle size

Getting ready for IUI, just had CD 12 ultrasound--I have five follicles over 15mm and the largest was 31. I'm wondering if the dominant folly is too big? Can anyone share their experience with folly sizes please!

    wow! I think that its pretty goog since when I had my insemination I only had 2 folicles 18 & 19mm(even though I was on clomid for 5 days)and I got prego but miscarried at 6 wks; I honestly do not know if yours are too big or too many (I heard that with over 6 follicles they can postpone your IUI due to the higher risk of multiples)or can it be depending on the size of you body structure? I think you should ask your RE to be sure. GOOD LUCK!! LOTS OF BABY DUST!!!

    Thanks! My RE wasn't concerned about it, I had the IUI this morning, was pleasantly surprised that the motile count was 14 million, we used ICI instead of the washed specimen, the clinic washes prior to insemination. Good luck to you and thanks for the baby dust!
