Help this was my third time to try IUI and it still is not working. At this point I am very frustrated wondering is it me or the donor.
I am going to change donors this time and maybe try clomid but I am worried about possibly of having twins. How many of you have tried clomid? Did it work? Did you have twins or just one child? I would love to hear from both the one that have had twins and the ones that have had just one child. Thanks for your support.
Good luck to all that are trying.

My RE told me that the chances of having twins at my age was a bit lower because even though the Clomid worked very well for me and my ovaries produced two mature follicles, the likelihood of both follicles producing a viable egg was decreased. It certainly still could have happened and I could have still had twins, our ultrasound at 6 weeks only showed 1 little one :) They do monitor you very closely with ultrasounds when you take the Clomid to make sure your ovaries are not hypostimulated and produce too many follicles....they like to see 2. I know every woman and every RE is different, but that was my experience and I am thrilled I finally agreed to use the Clomid because I don't think I would have been able to get pregnant without it.
Good luck to you in your decision. Don't give up, they say the average is 4-6 unmedicated IUI's before success....after 6 they usually start considering other methods.
