Am single woman and just wondering Does blood type matter. When looking for donors I just wonder because in real life I wouldn’t know the guys blood type.

You are exactly right -- no one ever worries what blood type the male is in traditional conception. There is no reason for you to concern yourself with it either.
If there is a compatibility issue, your physician will simply give you a shot of rhogam before any invasive procedure (like an amnio, CVS, etc.) and again before your the delivery.
