How do I know my donor isn't lying and/or crazy?

Hi There,
I know there is no guarantee that the donor is being honest about all aspects of the interview, but is there some way that CCB gets corroborative evidence about any of the information gathered? For example any medical history checking with other family members? College transcripts, etc?
Thanks,
Ariel

The donors are interviewed multiple times by donor coordinators, genetic counselors, and physicians. All testing and genetic screening is done to assure the donor meets our stringent requirements.
Donors are required to show proof of enrollment or a degree as well as GPA.
We do not contact other family members as it would violate our confidentiality agreement with the donor. However, our extensive screening process and experienced professional staff members do an outstanding job of completing what we believe to be an accurate medical history.
The qualification process takes 6-9 months. We get to know the donor applicants very well in that time.
