Need advice for first fertility appointment

Hello!

I'm new to this board and am preparing for my first fertility discussion appointment with my doctor. What questions should I ask?

All advice on how to prepare for this first information gathering meeting would be helpful! What should be my first steps?

    For my first appt (two weeks ago) was simply to meet the doctor and make sure I was comfortable with him and have bloodwork scheduled. I was just a listening ear because he had never treated me nor had any results from blood work and I didn't want to talk hypothetically because my scenario might be different.

    The one question, I forgot to ask and had to call back was what's next with him. (I knew the next steps for making appts with other drs but wasn't clear as to when I schedule my next appt with him).

    For the next:
    What form of treatment is he suggesting first?
    His thoughts on a natural cycle?
    His success rate for live births compared to pregnancy?
    Timeline for the selected process?
    I want to make sure he uses an ultrasound with IUI if that's the selected option. In reading other boards, it seems some drs are not.

    I found out I had fibroids, so I have to find out about those.

    Good luck, praying all works out and so I can do my first treatment in May/June

    Just so you know I have a fibroid I never had them out and I have a healthy 17 month old. All it did was grow with the pregnancy. I was monitored during my pregnancy. A lot of menstruating woman have them. Good luck.

    The dr says it depends on size and location. So the next ultrasound we will see positioning. Praying they cause no issues! Did you do IUI or IVF with your little one? How many cycles did it take?
