My wife and I have been doing research for months but we can't find anywhere if we would have better results if a dr did it or if we just did it at home? Any thoughts would help thank you

It's our first time too but from what I've found out so far I feel the chances are higher having a Dr. Do it but if y'all want to try a round at home first go for it :). Whatever you guys are more comfortable with.
