first IUI today and kinda nervous!

I'm 24 and fertile. Did 50Mg of clomid this cycle. Had 29 resting follicles on day 3 of my cycle. Today I went in for insemination and had one really good follicle released. I'm nervous because the donor I used 12731 only had 8.38 million on the sperm count and I was told that's really low!! Has anyone had positive results with this low of count?? Also looking for 2 week wait buddies!

    Hi kyriekins06; I'm not an expert as I had my first IUI on Thursday/Friday..My count was at 10mil each time, but my RE said anything btwn 8-10mil sperm count is fine.. Wish you lots of luck as we get thru these 2 weeks...

    I had my first IUI today too. I was nervous, but was very happy I had my sister with me. She took my mind off of it. Now we just have to wait. My dr. did give me progesterone to take and I'm nervous about taking it because of all the side effects.
    Good luck and hopefully these 2 weeks go by fast.

    dzamyb... Good luck. The best thing to do is keep busy. Have a drink tonight, it will help you relax so the little ones can swim. I did not take progesterone or anything else when I was going through this, so I can not give you any advice.

    Just relax is my best advice.
